5.0 out of 5 stars Totally new!, 19 Aug. 2013

I have read lots and lots of books on wrestling, mostly autobiographies. This book takes a whole new approach. An in depth look at the world of British wrestling. It is broken down into logical chapters, which mean you can either sit and read it as a novel, or dip in and out as you please.
The author has obviously done considerable work and research talking to people from all levels within the industry including the fans. This keeps the book fresh and interesting.
It is a must read for any British wrestling fan for sure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, 19 Aug. 2013

Having read volume one (which I loved) I couldn't wait to read the second instalment. As a huge wrestling fan, it was great to find some fiction based around the sport, instead of just another autobiography. Having said that, I think the series would appeal to non wrestling fans too, as there is so much more to the story than that. Crime, Deception, Honour,Tradition..... it's all there.
I took me a little while to get into the rhythm of volume one, but the story is so gripping I was dying to know what was going to happen. This second volume answers many of the questions left open in book one, but has also left me dying for book three. So come on Paul, hurry up please!
