4.0 out of 5 stars Good sound and great looking Box, 21 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Using this for a couple of months now and works great with a variety of phones over Bluetooth.
You do need to stay fairly close to the unit or keep the phone still but quality of sound and volume is great for indoors and Patio living, music in the Summer. Very smart looking unit - also takes cable and USB inputs.
Even switches on and plays when you walk into the room which is a bit freaky sometimes but recommended.

Oregon Scientific Wireless Indoor and Outdoor Thermometer
Oregon Scientific Wireless Indoor and Outdoor Thermometer

4.0 out of 5 stars Great item, works perfectly, 21 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a great item, follows another Oregon Scientific unit which kept losing the signal, but this seems rock solid after 3 months in situ.
Very clear large display, inside and outside temperature.
Does exactly what it says on the box.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic secure trainers, old friends now, 21 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Brilliant trainers, bought the same pair twice now so they must be good.
Last pair bought in 2010 took me around the world, literally in 30 days, and only now in 2013 need replacing. Even so, they'll still make a casual work show for Gardening etc. These trainers really are brilliant, they hold the foot well and never lose their shape. They end up feeling like an old friend.
Size wise, I'm usually a 10 or 10.5 but with these, you need half a size up to be safe. I go for 11 and they are perfect. Brilliant quality and look.

4.0 out of 5 stars An inspirational tale, 1 Feb. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Jupiter's Travels (Paperback)
I've just finished reading this book and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's fairly long in over 400 pages and in order to get the best from it you need to read a good chunk at a time but Teds writing style and observations of people and places are insightful.

He manages to share his views, motorcycling and travel all in one with the smallest of incidents recalled for the readers pleasure. Recommended

Logitech Harmony One UK - Advanced Universal Remote Control (discontinued by manufacturer)
Logitech Harmony One UK - Advanced Universal Remote Control (discontinued by manufacturer)

4.0 out of 5 stars Very cool and works well, 1 Feb. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Now this is a great item and has already replaced about 6 different remote control.
The online and usb set-up takes around an hour, 30 minutes on the instructions is optimistic unless you've only got two items to program.
The options on the Harmony website are great and the learning and help modes powerful.
Overall a very neat and well though out item that myself and my son shared a happy hour of programming to get going, now he's the expert and he's only 11.

3.0 out of 5 stars Average sound but fine for a desk, 1 Feb. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
These speakers look good and bass is good but the overall punch is dissappointing.

They are fine for Desk use connected to a PC or even an iPOD but clarity at High volume is poor and I'd describe them overall as OK-Fi rather than Hi Fi.

Would have been good to have more than a single input too..
The Gloss Black also attracts dust and within an hour they looked like they had been there a month. Static largely I guess.

Overall I'd buy something more expensive next time round - you get what you pay for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good if you're into SAABs!, 3 Jun. 2011
This review is from: Saab: The Innovator (Hardcover)
Stops short of the modern day 9-3 and 9-5 models from 1980 onwards but a great book if you want to trace your SAAB history back to it's foundation in 1937.

Covers the background from the first Project 92 The 3 Cylinder 93 and the 96 models all the way to the 99 and 900 models. Blow by blow and very detailed accounts of model changes and design updates.

Also covers SAABs rally career in the 1970's as well as the short lived Sonnet model in the US.
Some good pictures too - all in all great if you're a SAAB fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Killer machine, 27 Jan. 2007
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
What a great machine - but it's more than a PS2 replacement.

I've hooked it up into my home Network, used it to stream photos from an upstairs PC and fed movies through it onto my TV from a Media Centre PC.

The downloads and X Box Live just add another layer of free stuff and the wireless controllers rock. Who needs PS3...

Oh and the gaming is pretty good too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Get more from your excercise., 27 Jan. 2007
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a great book which goes through all the basics including positioning, frame size, fitness and weight control using Cycling as well as more advanced topics such as tips on pedalling and hillclimbing.

I've read it a couple of times now and always pick up on something new.

Worthwhile to give you a bit of a boost from Cycling during cold winter days and something to energize you!

3.0 out of 5 stars Advanced and Technical, 27 Jan. 2007
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Good book for those Cyclists wanting to push on and get more from Cycling.

Gets a bit technical at times around Heart rate and Calorie counting but a good insight into rigourous training.

I learned something - Pedal fast to go Slow !
