5.0 out of 5 stars Feast on Felix, 7 Oct 2011
The cats' love it and that really is a good enough reason to buy Felix pouches. Cheaper and easier than going to the wretched supermarket. The jelly packs are easier to use too as the gravy in the others oozes out of the top when you open the packet. Good buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars The other side of new labour, 7 Oct 2011
I am throughly enjoying this book. Chris Mullin is like a good deed in a naughty world, he shines. He seems to be one of the few real socialists in New Labour. What a grasping shower some of them were. He is not unkind in his diaries just states things as he sees them. This is the third of his diaries I have read, having first heard a reading on Radio 4. I can't recommend A Walk-On Part too highly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Present for a friend, 26 July 2011
Despite this wedding souvenir only having 3 stars when I bought it as a present for an American friend I enjoyed flipping throught the pages before sending it. Note this was done very carefully as I didn't want it to look second hand. She was absolutely thrilled with it. It had just the right amount of text to go with the splendid illustrations.

Bio-Oil Specialist Skincare Oil - 200 ml
Bio-Oil Specialist Skincare Oil - 200 ml
Offered by Activecare Online
Price: £14.00

5.0 out of 5 stars Scar reduction, 12 Jun 2011
Bio-oil is brilliant. I have used it on operation scars on both my wrists and on my shoulder and it definately aids in repair. It helps maintain underlying tissue mobilty and to minimize redness of the scar. The wrist scars are difficult to see and the shoulder is progressing well, this is a recent scar. I am pleased with the double sized bottle too.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Morville Year, 28 April 2011
This review is from: The Morville Year (Hardcover)
This book is a joy. It comprises articles written by Katherine Swift when she was the gardening correspondent for the Times. I read a lot of these at the time but no where near all of them so it is lovely to have them gathered together to read again. It is an easy bedtime read. I read one or two or even three articles at a time. The book has all the best of each month giving Katherine's insight into so much more than gardening and involving so much research.
I look forward to her next book. I also encourage readers to visit her lovely atmospheric garden at the Dower House to bring the contents even more alive. Afternoon tea with freshly baked scones, home made jam and cream is not to missed.

Tonkinese Cats
Tonkinese Cats
by Linda Vousden
Edition: Hardcover

5.0 out of 5 stars Tonkinese Cats, 5 Oct 2010
This review is from: Tonkinese Cats (Hardcover)
This brilliant book by Linda Vousden is an absolute must for anyone contemplating buying a Tonkinese kitten or an owner thinking of breeding Tonkinese. It conveys a fuller picture of all aspects of the breed for those who already own one or more members of this lovable family. Everything you want or need to know about the Tonkinese cat is there.
I own two wonderful Tonks, having recently 'lost' a third to cancer, and would not now consider another breed.

5.0 out of 5 stars A joy to read., 30 April 2009
Katharine Swift's popular book is pure prose and a joy to read. She tells how she creates a garden divided into rooms for different ages and with reference to the people who have lived in the Morville Hall Dower House. She also fascinates the reader with her tales of the people past and present who populate her book. Much research has gone into this delicately told tale. We learn some astromony and about the Shropshire countryside, bee-keeping and other ancient crafts. The Monastic life and seasons of the year are all intertwined in this beautiful book.
