1.0 out of 5 stars Sans eyes, sans teeth, sans taste, sans everything., 1 Jun. 2006
This review is from: Massive R&B (Audio CD)
This CD is a compilation of the most tasteless, senseless noises ever created. "Talent" is not something that one would associate with this product, unless there is a specific area of talent for sounds akin to a diseased vacuum cleaner. I would hardly even classify this as "music" - it is a racket and a waste of good money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Doing the unthinkable., 11 May 2006
In this book, Andrew Hosken does the unthinkable - he makes local government interesting.

Though councillors and wards and district auditors may people off normally, this book is a fascinating, detailed and - in parts - amusing biography of Dame Shirley Porter.

Only one word word sum up this book, and - indeed - the scandals it illustrates: "riveting"

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly one of my "favourite things"., 2 April 2006
I have Condidence that nobody can call themselves a true affectionado of Sound of Music without this CD.
It contains the original 16 pieces from the film, beautifully sung by Maria, the Captain, the Children and the Chorus, plus eleven bonus tracks that make this CD even more of "something good", wiht exetended music, additional verses and esxtra soundtrack used on the film.
Rodger and Hammerstein outdo any other musical ever written herein, and this CD is worth every penny.
