Scroll Tablet PC, 9 Aug 2011
Let's face it, this isn't ever going to be an i-pad. But it's quick, the screen is sensitive enough for a resistive one and the Android sofware is easy to use. The display is clear and bright and it rotates as you turn the tablet so you can view it in portrait or landscape. The menu and back buttons feel sturdy. It feels like a quality build and robust when handled. The memory is expansive via an sd card but the 2gb internal memory is sufficient for basics and mp3 playback. The camera is a plus for Skype use. It doesn't come with a wallet to protect it but I've seen colorful rubber and fabric ones in supermarkets for £5.
I got this for my 11 year old who wanted a laptop, I was reluctant to shell out £300+ so got her this instead. It was easy to set up once you got your head around the menu system. If I have one gripe it's that the manual that comes with it is very basic and doesn't give enough information on the system, setup or available functions.
Once it was set up it was quick to download and browse the web. The Android market place is huge and offers loads of great ap's. I downloaded a few games and an painting ap. It comes with a little pen so you can draw and it also makes navigation of the menus a bit easier.
All in all, I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend it as a low price quality introduction to tablets.
