2.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware, 13 Aug 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
These earphones offer great sound with a wide soundstage but unfortunately suffer from poor build quality. After about a month one of the speakers separated from the metal housing. They are held together with glue which evidently isn't up to the job.

I requested a replacement pair from Amazon because I really did like the comfort, fit and sound quality of these earphones. Frustratingly though the exact same problem happened again after a month or so. It's a great shame the quality control isn't up to par because the sonic quality is top notch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Comfortable, 26 July 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I own a pair of Shure SE530 IEM earphones. The best of the standard earbuds supplied by Shure offer great passive noise isolation but start to become uncomfortable during extended use. The Comply TX-100 memory foam sleeves become very soft in your ears as they warm up so you get an excellent fit, good noise isolation and they can be worn for long periods in complete comfort. Another nice feature is the wax guard which prevents ear wax from getting inside and affecting sound quality by gumming up your earphones.

One tip I would offer is if you want to clean your Comply earbuds to extend their life, let them cool down and solidify before you attempt to clean them. They are very brittle when soft and can easily start to disintegrate if handled too much. You can speed up the cooling down process by running them under the cold tap for a few moments then allow them to dry. Only use water to clean them. A moist tissue usually does the trick.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Real Deal, 26 July 2010
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have to agree with the earlier reviews, this product is far superior to the Gioteck triggers. They're made of better quality plastic and won't crack or break under normal conditions. Even when dropped from table height the triggers stay on the controller and stay fully intact. Fantastic product, highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointingly Flimsy, 26 July 2010
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Gioteck Real Triggers were the first product of their kind that I heard about for the PS3 Dualshock controller. I'd heard nothing but good things about them but unfortunately the reality has been a great disappointment for me. I bought two pairs in succession and each set began to crack under normal use within a few short days. If you drop your controller on the floor then they will definitely break. They are not fit for purpose.

I'd recommend ORB Controller Triggers X 2 (PS3). They look the same as the Gioteck triggers but are made from better quality plastic and are much more resilient. I bought a pair several months ago and they're still in perfect condition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommended, 15 Dec 2009

Having looked around, these scales are for me the ideal product. Made by a well-known company they are accurate, easy to read and surprisingly slim and light so they are easy to store away if space is an issue. The price was very good too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Penlight, 15 Dec 2009

This review is from: Penlite (DIY & Tools)
I'm very pleased with the product. Unlike a lot of penlights you don't need to hold down the button to keep the light on. It works very well, you can replace the batteries and it's a great price.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Quite So Easy For PS3, 15 Sep 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this for use with my PS3 and it stopped working altogether within a few days. The first time I used it a message appeared on screen saying that it was an unrecognised memory device, but it did work. However one of the other two USB memory sticks I had plugged in disappeared from the XMB. This happened every time I used it, regardless of which slot I put it in and whichever of the other USB memory sticks I had plugged in.
This is not a problem I have ever experienced with any other memory stick so I'm confident that this is a peculiarity of this particular product rather than a problem with the USB slots on my PS3. My advice is buyer beware.

5.0 out of 5 stars Prepare yourself for a treat, 12 July 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a box set containing five studio albums each of which contains additional material. Cheap Trick seem to be largely overlooked and greatly underestimated. Most people will know them principally for "I Want You To Want Me" and "Surrender" but I have discovered that they are a band with many more killer cuts than that. "You're All Talk", "High Roller" and "Love Comes A Tumblin' Down" are great examples.

There's something here for most rock fans with some deft guitar work, amusing lyrics and surprisingly a hint of British rock influences. At this price you're getting a good deal with 63 tracks including some live versions and alternate takes which are great. This is a perfect introduction to Cheap Trick if you're not overly familiar with their music and a nice box set for fans.

This extension lead is of the highest quality and produces great aural results. However it's a little short for an extension lead and I would like to see one of at least three metres added to the range.

This headset is useless. The bluetooth interferes with the frequency of the sixaxis so that it becomes disabled in the middle of a game. It's totally unreliable and frustrating. Avoid at all costs.
