4.0 out of 5 stars shut the world out, and drift off somewhere magical!, 8 Jan. 2012
This review is from: 50 Words for Snow (Audio CD)
I have always liked KB and see the beauty in her work. This album gives you a idea of how KB has evolved as a song writer and producer. She is alot older now! I am not going to run through the individual tracks on here as other reviewers have done that already. The album has a classical vibe to it, every song is different, interesting, well crafted and in my opionion, amazing! Only negative is, I wish
there were more than seven tracks on the album.

A neatly packed, nice little product that makes you feel like you've got a bargin for the price!

4.0 out of 5 stars clever!, 26 Sept. 2007
This review is from: Fur And Gold (Audio CD)
This album's cleverly crafted to be different, but not to obscure. There are twists and turns in the tracks that make you think to yourself "that's not going to work" but it does! and it sounds great!
who cares what these guys are singing about!, I mean what on earth were the Cocteau Twins singing about?! and look how big they turned out to be & still are. I hope these guys do well, this is a good first album with some stunning track on it. Unusual & unique. One of those albums that you put on & before you know it, it's finished all to quickly! As some of the other reviewers have stipulated, there are elements of these guys sounding like, goldfrapp, Bjork, kate Bush, with maybe a bit of PJ Harvey thrown it to mix things up a little!

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy it!, 21 Sept. 2007
This review is from: PROGRESSION (Audio CD)
To all of those who like uplifting, decent trance..buy this album! This is the only stuff I've heard by MS and I'm certainly going to give other stuff he has done a listen! This album is made up of individual tracks and each one is pretty different. This guy can produce mellow vocal tunes as well as some of the best quality trance around... If you like Armin Van Buuren, kyau & Albert, Cosmic Gate, Above and Beyond.....buy! If you're into builing up a decent collection of trance, this should be in it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cocteau twins spring to mind, 7 Sept. 2007
This review is from: Goodbye (Audio CD)
This guy has never fails to produce a good album, do slightly prefer his earlier stuff but still play this often, US to me sounds like a cross between the Cocteau Twins and Boards of Canada. Really relaxing, thought provoking music..lovely!

4.0 out of 5 stars Bouncy / uplifting., 7 Sept. 2007
This review is from: In Between (Audio CD)
If you like bouncy, uplifting trance, then you'll like this. I am a massive Armin Van Buuren fan and have been for a while, but after listening to this album, it makes me realise why Armin is 3rd in world ranking and Paul Van Dyk is 2nd. Not to commercial either, not heard any of the tracks on here before. A nice little number to add to your collection.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good in places., 6 Sept. 2007
Have only got round to listening to this cd once. Found it a bit flat, will probably like it more when I give it another listen. There are a few tracks on here that lift it a little and are also pretty good! it's a fairly downtempo, chilled album. If you like your progressive house then you'll probably like this!

4.0 out of 5 stars Different, but still Bent, 19 April 2007
This review is from: Intercept! (Audio CD)
I have to say that I actually like this CD, ok it's not my most favorite one that they have done, but it's good! It seems that they are progressing into a slightly diffrent area with this offering, and to be honest I don't think it's a bad thing, to much of the same thing can become boring, i think if you're a real Bent fan then you'll like this CD & you'll hear and feel that it is still very much Bent.
