1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money, 31 Dec. 2010
This is a tiny pamphlet, not a proper paperback. This was a complete waste of money, the blurb had appeared in other publications and was a total rip off.

All Gary Larsons cartoons are great and this anthology is no exception. Brilliant fun.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not his best work, 1 July 2010
I was disappointed that this book was nowhere near as good as his other book in the series. Definately not worth the money.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the free trial!, 1 July 2010
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Chuzzle (PC CD) (Video Game)
I had played free demos of Chuzzles - and expected the game to be more exciting and diverse in the full version - it wasn't. It soon became samey and there was little variety between the games. It's all right for an hour every week or so but not nearly as varied or exciting as Plants v Zombies.

A good girlie feelgood movie if you needed one. (Although it is starting to look rather 1980's in places now!) A lot of fun to watch - Get a pizza and a bottle of wine, invite your girlfriends round and enjoy a night in reminiscing about times gone by.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys, 30 Jun. 2005
This was well acted mostly by teenagers who attend a repressive Catholic school under the care of an unpleasant nun played by Jodie Foster and a smoking, football coaching padre played by Vincent D'Onofrio. The feelings of teenage angst are well documented if rather far fetched and the conclusion was unnexpected. The He Man / She Ra type cartoons interspered between the live action are OK.

4.0 out of 5 stars Impostor, 30 Jun. 2005
This review is from: Impostor [VHS] [2002] (VHS Tape)
This was a cross between Blade Runner (without the Harrison Ford/ Rutger Hauer chemistry) and a cheap Starship Troopers (without the bugs!) It was irritatingly filmed with hand held camera's. It had some deeply unbelievable scenarios. Gary Sinise sweated a lot. Vincent D'Onofrio made a good villain and he had the best line in the film, when asked how he slept at night (after a day spent torturing potentially innocent people) he replied "We lost 10 and saved 10,000 - I sleep like a baby, Mr Secretary!" The ending was predictable from a long way off. It's all right to view once...

This was a film peopled by deeply shallow characters you didnt care about - except the lead Phillip - played by Vincent D'Onofrio, a nieve sort. There were no memorable lines, the music was OK and not too intrusive. The tension built but the ending was irritating.
