Feels expensive, 20 Sep 2001
Released in late 1991. The Album has stood out since then. The event of 1991 and may be the early 90s too. 10 years and counting since, the album doesn't feel dated the way Thriller does now. This was Michael's first major album without Quincy Jones, Bruce Swedein was the producer. The songs feel terribly expensive production wise and it shows they have spent a lot of time over it. Mr Jackson, may not be the most prolific artist ever, but he sure gives good value, the album runs over 70 min's. My favourite song is 'who is it' the song encapsulates the whole album, and the video was great too. A definite 5-star effort. Thank you Michael.
