I really enjoyed the first Dead Island game so I went and purchased Dead Island Riptide when it came out. It has basically the same gameplay, but there are lots of new locations and monsters to deal with. It took me about 33 hours to complete in single player as I wanted to explore every location. If you enjoyed the first Dead Island then I think you will enjoy this too.

This is a great fun game for the price. There are various weapons (upgradable) and lots of different ways of killing the enemy for which you are award points. The graphics are great and there are lots of nicely designed levels - some of the outdoor levels look impressive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Strudy DVD/CD Case, 4 Oct 2012

I needed a strudy case for carrying around a number of DVDs and this does the job nicely. It is well constructed and should prevent the DVDs inside being damaged whilst in my rucksack.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 11 Nov 2011

Been playing for a few hours now and the game is excellent. There is so much detail in the world and uniqueness in every location you visit. The voice acting is great and so is the animation of the people and creatures. I will look forward to spending the next few months exploring everything this new game has to offer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Fun, 15 Sep 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Dead Island (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM)
I have been playing this game for several hours now and have not yet encountered any technical issues or serious bugs. On my system I am able to run it on the highest graphics settings and it looks great. I like the large open world it gives you to explore and there are plenty of main and side quests to keep you occupied. The printed manual that came with it is pretty basic, but there is a hints section in the game where help is available. As at the time of writing this review you seem to need to be online to play it, even if you select to play it in single player mode - switching the Steam Client to offline mode will prevent the game from working. If you do all the main and side quests and explore everything, I expect there must be dozens of hours of game play available in just the single player mode. For me, this is a great fun and addictive game to play.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality PSU, 23 Jun 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I am using this PSU to power a ASUS Sabertooth X58 motherboad, I7 960 CPU and GTX 580 GPU. The PSU is a top quality product and runs cool, quiet and stable. It also comes with a very long guarantee which gives you a lot of confidence in the product. The product comes in a large box with the PSU and modular cables in their own bags and a detailed instruction booklet. I did not need 850w for my particular setup but having the extra overhead means I can added extra hardware in the future without any problems.

Excellent monitor for the price. I am using this monitor for gaming and general desktop use. The control buttons on the bottom right hand side of the monitor are a little fiddly, but since you only have to use them occasionally it is not a problem. There were no dead pixels or any other problems with the monitor. It is a great looking monitor and I have very pleased with the picture quality when gaming, waching videos or just surfing the internet.

This review is from: Far Cry 2 (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM)
I bought Far Cry 2 as I had played the original Far Cry game on windows and thoroughly enjoyed it. I installed Far Cry 2 on Windows 7 64 bit with an NVIDIA GTX580 with the game maxed out at 1920 x 1080 and it looks fantastic. This is a very different game to the original and there is a lot of travelling around required in the open world to complete missions - via car, boat or on foot. The only fast travel available is a bus which will take you closer to where you want to go. The open world is split into two big areas: A northern and southern region. The southern region only becomes accessible once the required missions have been played. I found the southern region the best with more interesting towns and missions. On your journeys you will be regularly be attacked by armoured cars or gun boats so you have to be prepared for action at any moment. Any areas you go to or patrol point where you kill all the enemies will be re-spawned shortly after leaving that area. At lot of people who have played the game do not like the re-spawning, but I like it as it guarantees that wherever you are in the world you will always get plenty of action. As some other reviewers have said, this is a game that will grow on you. If you can get used to and accept the large amount of travelling required; the re-spawning of patrol points and being regularly attacked by armoured cars, there is a lot to enjoy in this game.
