Zefal Wiiz Bottle Cage - White, Large
Zefal Wiiz Bottle Cage - White, Large
Price: 3.99

2.0 out of 5 stars Not suitable for all frames but some good features, 9 Oct 2011
This review is from: Zefal Wiiz Bottle Cage (Sports)
The product looks much better in pictures than it is. The whole unit is generally chunkier and heavier than I was expecting from the images. The main issue however is the way in which the mounting is designed. The bar which serves as the mounting point and where the bottom of the bottle rests (to stop it sliding further down), is separate and designed such that if your bottle mounts are raised from the frame by even a few mm, the bottle cage will be firmly held in place but the mounting bar ends up rattling against the frame. Smaller / differently designed screws may have got around this.
That said if you don't have raised bottle mounts the cage works well and being able to slide the bottle out diagonally and mount the cage with the exit on the left of right means that it's suitable for having two bottle cages on smaller frames and you can choose whether you prefer to use your left or right hand to remove the bottle.

5.0 out of 5 stars The definitive guide to ridges in England, Wales and Ireland, 27 July 2009
This is an excellent guide to ridges for England, Wales and Ireland. There is plenty in here for both beginners and more experienced climbers. All the classics are covered and the routes described are all high quality with plenty of photos to bring the descriptions to life. There are OS map excerpts shown for each route which is a nice touch. Routes for summer and winter are covered.

Like all Dan's books, the writing is light hearted with a sense of personality, yet clear and detailed. If ridges are your thing, or you want to take your hiking to the next level in the UK, this is a great guide to help light the way.
