Nemesis: A Harry Hole thriller (Oslo Sequence 2)

Price: £7.99

This is the 2nd book I have read by Jo Nesbo and I have enjoyed them both.Harry Hole is an unconventional detective in the sence that he does not toe the line when it comes to his private life (Drinking)But I grew to like him. This book had you guessing all the way to the end. The gypsy intrique kept me reading. Tom Waaler is a real baddy just want some-one to get him hopefully it will be Harry. Interesting how some-one in prison can still make things happen on the outside! I have now just started tha next book.

This review is from: Spies of the Balkans (Paperback)
Enjoyed the book but found it a liitle "Light". It was good to read something about that part of ww2 instead of France, Italy, and Africa we tend to forget that the Balkans and Russia were involved as well. I lked the way Alan Furst made it more human by bringing in the love between master and dog and his feeling of lonelyness about having to leave him with his parents. The way Alan intervowe daily work with undercover work was cleaverly done.
