2.0 out of 5 stars Meandering lacks focus., 4 Nov. 2015

Slow and wanders around a bit. Strange references to past events like book 3 referring to events in book 1 & 2. However this is book 1. Strange indeed. Hope that it gets better and more focused in the rest of the series. Has a potential to get more focused and this would get my attention. Unsure after book one if I want to continue.

1.0 out of 5 stars as I felt this was like being mugged, 27 Oct. 2015

Wow. The day one patching and loading literally took way longer than the Solo game. About 1.5 hours longer in fact. Seriously was Ok as a mini game but alas I have played longer DLC than this. Similar to Reach but no way as deep or complete. The story seems to end mid game....Guess that will be Halo 6. Will not be getting Halo 6 any how, as I felt this was like being mugged.

3.0 out of 5 stars kind of felt like half a book, 8 July 2015

kind of felt like half a book. The plot was partly developed and then kind of stopped mid story. I get it is a series, but if felt like watching a 2 part TV show (part 1 only) rather than doing a full episode. It felt lacking IMO

Poorly conceived style of writing. It alternates between wallowing aimlessly for chapters , then when the author actually comes up with a way forward with the story, he rushes it in a few pages like he was so delighted to get an idea he had to finish it asap, only to wallow again. This guy needs to learn writing discipline and not rush the good ideas and indulge in wallowing in rubbish just to justify he is still writing. Felt like 2 authors. Sadly a lot more wallowing aimlessly than good bits for my taste.

Bad is such a small word, this book needs a better word but none exists. Awful, dire, rubbish really do not do it justice.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad game (never thought I would diss Borderlands), 26 Oct. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bad. Loved Borderlands 1&2. This however was more like a dlc for number 2, a large dlc (very large) The o2 gimmick ruined the exploration element of the game. Making everything a timed event sucked, when trying to do, jumps etc left little time to actually look around for loot. Loot being a major part of BL. Ausie version sucked, they tried that with crocodile Dundee, the world moved on. Shame, just hope BL 3 gets the magic back and loses all the glitches and bugs this game has. Game fast travel broke. Saved at fast travel for final boss fight. Logged back in to be put back 3 boss fights/levels earlier on return for example. Spawning enemies literally right behind you Tec,as the engine can not manage enough on screen at once.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bound by sticky tape IMO., 13 May 2014

This game was to be honest poor. It was a RPG that took a day to complete. WOW. It was short and not so sweet. Graphics were sub par. Game play was sub par. The game recycled enemies constantly with about a dozen or so including boss fights. The battle system was average at best. You get a feeling they were told half way through making the game...........Sorry boys we need to pack it in and ship the product. Really would not recommend it. No character interactions by far. Half the game that was Dragon age 1 was with poorer graphics, game play, character development, plot etc.
