4.0 out of 5 stars Great device for picking up grit, 24 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This device works very well, picking up most grit from the bottom of the liner. The only complaint I have, the non-return flap doesn't seal fully, so when you squeeze the body, some water squirts forward out of the nozzle, displacing the grit you are about to pick up. The flapper could do with a soft rubber seal, or being replaced with a different style of non-return valve. Once you know of this issue, you just need to lift the device away from the liner slightly before squeezing, then place it back down before letting it suck.

5.0 out of 5 stars Useful carry case and pouch, 11 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Fits the Samsung ATIV perfectly, even with keyboard attached. Useful pocket at front for small cables such as earphones and USB, but a little small for the power adapter. Great to use on the plane, can carry the tablet to your seat using the shoulder strap, while the hand baggage is stowed out of reach... saves that last minute struggle to get stuff out of your bag while people are trying to push past.

5.0 out of 5 stars Light and compact DVD drive with useful software, 11 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Light and compact, comes with useful software, and uses a standard connection cable taking power from the USB socket, even on my little tablet.

Does the job it is meant to do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spacious and all the accessories you need, 11 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Removable liner in the cooler section is very useful, making spilled food easy to clean up. Putting the cutlery away can be a little fiddly, but having a slot for each item makes sure you don't forget anything.

The bottle staps in the end pockets could do with more velcro to allow adjustment to different sized bottles, but for now I just use a few empty bags as additional packing, which then come in handy for rubbish.

The only worry I have, the zips around the cooler section are a bit sticky at times looking like they might be trying to jump a tooth, so I hope they last.

1.0 out of 5 stars Totally useless (for me anyway), 7 April 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
In my bathroom, the tiles are matt and not shiny, so it doesn't stick well to them at all.
The suction pads are also at fixed distances from the corner, so I have the unfortunate problem that it also won't stick in the room with shiny tiles, because there is a grout joint under the suction pad.

Only way I will be able to use these, will be to cut the pads and bottom outcrops off, and screw it to the wall, so what was the point of buying a suction one in the first place?

1.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant concept, badly conceived, 7 April 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This was one of the best "lower priced" Android tablets I have used, fast and responsive, brilliant media sharing (both in and out), very flexible with expandable memory (MiniSD up to 32GB), USB port, HDMI connection and upgradeable to 3G without having to buy a new Model. I absolutely loved it, for about 4 weeks!

The first problem I found, it won't charge properly from the USB cable connected to a computer, so I had to carry the special power adapter with a mini USB connection, yet more weight while travelling. Normally, I just use an international adapter (selectable pin arrangement for different countries) which has a USB output, and a selection of USB cables to charge each device I carry.

Secondly, and this is an appalling oversight in design, you can not power the device effectively from the adapter, you can only charge it... so you have to stop using it, to charge it... not much good if you have a report to finish in the Aeroplane!

Thirdly, just over 4 weeks, without any hard use yet, and the unit has died. The screen froze during a film, and the device was completely unresponsive. It had to be reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds, then it was restarted. This time, the screen scrambled after boot up, so it had to be reset again.

IT WILL NOT TURN ON AT ALL NOW, charging LED comes on when the charger is plugged in, and it has been left on charge overnight... but still will not turn on, so it is not a dead battery. Archos' response to this fault was to install the new firmware, I am still awaiting a reply on how I am meant to install a new firmware on a device which is as DEAD AS A DODO?

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible Service!, 29 Jan 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I tried to buy this item from both WebNet Retail and SenderCity. Both suppliers failed to supply the item, and both refused to reply to any emails I sent. SenderCity eventually just cancelled the order due to a stock error, after making me wait ages, and Webnet Retail just sent out a package with the other items I ordered and some sort of charger, that obviously wasn't even a stock item in the place of the headset, and refused to answer any emails. Eventually I had to resort to an A2Z claim, which still left me out of pocket and without the christmas gift I had promised! Amazon were no help, their Customer Care just didn't care!
