3.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad But Not Groundbreaking, 14 Oct 2010
This review is from: Band Of Joy [Digipack] (Audio CD)
Not a bad album but nowhere near as interesting as the Strange Sensations period. Some of the country tinged tracks are really dull. Always been a big fan but this is slightly disapointing. Silver Rider and Monkey are the stand out tracks.

The title says it all, absolutely nothing unique or interesting here, it could be any band in the world playing.

5.0 out of 5 stars PLANTS BEST SOLO ALBUM, 29 Aug 2007
This review is from: Fate Of Nations (Audio CD)
I think this Plants best solo album, although the later stuff with the strange sensation is probably on a par.Not a bad track on here, may not suit those who like their loud and heavy Zeppelin stuff but a great selection of songs.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Good!!!, 24 Aug 2007
This review is from: Lions (Audio CD)
This is probably the weakest of all the Crowes albums, there are acouple of good tracks but nowhere near the high standards they previously set. There doesnt seem to be the usual groove you expect from a Black Crowes album no cohesive playing........just messy ...and poor songs.....sorry cos I love them usually.

This is the Crowes at their best, not a bad song on the album. Probably their last great album, nothing since has lived upto this and perhaps never will.GO BUY!!
