The The at their best? Possibly, though Infected takes some beating. All 7 tracks are marvellous with hints of humour and self-effacement in the lyrics. I had a cassette of this with an extra track (Perfect?) which would have been a nice addition.

As always there is some really good stuff on a BSP album. For me the standouts are the opening title track, monsters of Sunderland and when a warm wind blows through the grass. Loving animals shows their willingness to experiment and express themselves but while K hole has an abundance of energy it doesn't seem to go anywhere. I wanted to love all of this album but I can only some most of it.

Lots of tracks including the obvious ones, though not all known to me and the unfamiliar ones were just as good as the not. An astute introduction to their canon of work.

More synthesised than I remembered. I bought it because I was reminiscing about the wrestling after the sad passing of Mick McManus.
