This book is beautiful. It is really easy to follow and is a fab addition to my collection of this particular author. The characters are very folk art and look stunning. The book is jam packed with lovely Christmas ideas and again I would say that this is another must have. A lovely present for a sewer and has beginner friendly instructions and diagrams. I really love this book and will be using it to create the father Christmas this year. Highly recommeded.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely book collection, a must have, 8 Nov 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This collection of the authors' most recent books is beautiful. The lovely characters are stunning and the unstructions are so easy to follow. I highly recommend this collection as it will not disappoint you at all. The books are hardbacked and contain a template page that can easily be enlarged. The only trouble is that you won't know were to begin first as you will want to do all of them. Absolutely wonderful, a lovely present for a sewer. This collection is a real must have! Beautiful.

This book is lovely and is just dedicated to the most beautiful gift bags. Even though it is only small this book contains a large amount of detail and photos to guide your every step. It is small enough to fit into your craft bag. The instructions are simple enough to follow and there is no jargon which if your like me confuses you from the start. I recommend this lovely book to anyone and everyone who would like to make something to complement a gift or lovely card. Have fun!!

5.0 out of 5 stars envelope heaven, 28 April 2010

This review is from: Pushing the Envelope (Paperback)
This is a lovely book, it is well written and photographed which is ideal for me as instructions can be pushing it a bit sometimes. There is a wealth of beautiful ideas for finishing of your card with a fantastic envelope. There are ways of decorating your boring white envelopes and making new ones which are lovely. The instructions are very easy to follow. I recommend this book if you would like to have a go or even just decorate the envelopes you have it is well worth having and I know that I will be using it often. I especially like the stamping part as I am just getting into stamping and I've built up quite a collection this is another reason to use them and an idea that I'd never thought of. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars inspiration for a special machine, 28 April 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book is very helpful and inspiring. Although it is only a thin book it contains alot of ideas which can be adapted to the other Cricut machines on the market as I have done. It does have a tendency to use one particular cartridge more than others which is a shame. It would have been great to see alot more finished items using a wider variety of cartridges. However, this is just an inspiration book and I know it will be well used with my Cricut and cartridges. For the price it is well worth having in your crafty stash if you have crafters block.

5.0 out of 5 stars Scrapbook cards, 24 Nov 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book is invaluable when you are downsizing scrapbook pages to cards. As a newcomer to scrapbooking but a real card fan I found that I could mix both of my papercraft loves together for another form of card. The instructions and photos were very good and easy to follow. The use of kinetic folds for cards is very well explained. A very resourceful book by my side when I have crafters block

4.0 out of 5 stars Something different, 24 Nov 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book is good for inspiration when you want to produce something different. It has easy to understand instructions which are easy to follow. I mainly got this book because I wanted to know how to make a card I had seen called a peep show card. This book not only gave the instructions for this particular card but others related to it. Give it a try if you like pop out or kinetic style cards, you won't be disappointed.
