comforting but evangelical, 17 July 2006
Comforting in its honesty and accuracy, a generous book. But unfortunate in its outlook on psychiatric meds, which have helped many people, and strange in its worship of Dr. Meares, when meditation is an ancient tradition. At times felt evangelical in its anti-med and pro-Meares stance. There are many paths to wellness. This is a very inspiring success story.
