Shame about the quality of the recording, lined shadows on a lot of it.

Apart from that it is a good enough film about terrorism as said in other reviews

5.0 out of 5 stars Ugg Caspia Boot, 11 April 2012
I have these boots, they are very stylish and so comfy I don't want to wear any others now!

Really warm and cosy they are mean't to be worn with no socks to keep them snug, I was not sure about this but they really are better worn without socks. I am a size 4.5 to 5 and the 5 fits good.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Love It!!, 30 Jan 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Loose Birds & Game (Hardcover)
I love it equally as 'Black Pudding & Fois Gras' constantly going from one to the other.

Andrew Pern definately is the best recipe book writer out there giving you not only the recipes - without all the unnecessary details I must add (commmon sense has to play a part) but does inspire you to have your own ideas and try something new.

He makes you feel like you have been to The Star Inn and as though you have met him! It is a really good read as is the previous book and I can't wait to see the next one.

Do buy this you really will use it and it won't be left on the shelf (or coffee table)and it is a sheer pleasure to own.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not Make Make this Curry Sauce, 30 Jan 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a complete waste of time, money and good food, not only smells disgusting - can't get rid of it out of the pan - but is tastless and worse than the worst jar of curry sauce you can buy. I wouldn't even give it to the dog and she loves curry.

Buy instead Under Cover Curry book by Dave Loyden and I promise you it will be the best smell and taste better than any curry you have ever had. I can't believe it is possible to make such a good curry especially at home.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Cook Book, 19 Jan 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Not only lovely easy book to look at, read and enjoy, it has fabulous recipies to create! The parkin is really good, tasty and moist but I think the quantities need to be doubled up on to make a deeper cake.
With lots of ideas to inspire and encourage it makes you want to get into the kitchen as well as to go to 'The Star Inn'.
This will be a booked often off the shelf, not only for cooking but for the feeling it gives you when you look through it, very comforting. Andrew Pern uses really traditional country style ingredients brought up to date with a refreshing makeover for us all to enjoy. I have Noma and also Quay and although these are good coffee table books they are not as inspiring (too technical or unable to get ingredients) or useful as Andrew Perns books - Andrews will be used not only for special occasion meals but everyday as well as being good on the coffee table!
Having just recieved 'Loose Birds & Game' I have only flicked through and am itching to read it and try out more recipes, it looks every bit as exciting.
One thing would be really useful when producing your next book - hopefully - a couple of page marker ribbons, please?!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Curry Ever!, 19 Jan 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The curry made from this book is brilliant, better than any curry we have ever tasted. It encourages you to use as little or as much of anything you put in - although I must admit it would be better to have more of a guide line of quantities or at least tell you where to buy a curry spoon.....could be a marketing opportunity for someone to produce this!? Once you have the main 'gravy' sauce in the freezer, a patia sauce, doppiaza, tomato puree and the garlic and ginger - all in your fridge, you are literally minutes from eating the most delicious curry. You will be delighted with the results, I never thought it possible to make such a good curry.
It is a shame that the korma curry is not included as it is very popular - I have great comments/results with the vindaloo, patia and my korma which I made up by using the book.
Recipe as follows - pre cooked chicken (I cook my chicken breasts in the microwave with a little seasoning and tiny amount of water-then cut up into chunks straight into the curry) Oil in pan-add 1 banana-sliced, (Dipping) - 1 rounded desert spoon or more ginger/garlic paste, 2 rounded teaspoon curry powder, 1 teaspoon tomato puree, good pinch fenugreek leaf, a sprinkle of cardomon and cinnamon, good pinch of demerara sugar. Then add chicken, cashew nuts and stir well, add gravy to coat and a good chunk of coconut cream block, coriander leaf and lastly just before serving add another sliced banana and stir in yoghurt or single cream. Of course add less or more of anything you wish.
The book does have handy places to add your own notes, there is no index which would be handy although you soon get the hang of it, it is a very easy read and well worth reading right through before you start. Enjoy!

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, 13 Jan 2012
It isn't as inspiring as 'Winter in the Alps' or 'Scandilicious' - I don't think I will be taking it off the shelf very often, it is just ok.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fan - wall mounted, 29 Aug 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very neat and tidy wall mounted fan, much better than having the work surface taken up. Easy to use with the remote control and on the lower setting it gives a substantial amount of air blow with out too much noise. Fairly noisy on the higher settings but what fan isn't? I would reccommend it and may even buy another one for the other bedroom as we don't have sufficient ceiling height for a ceiling fan.

Used these extension phones with the stand alone main skype phone for sometime now and would not consider any other way to phone. Sign up for 20 European countries for under 7euros per month or world wide for under 12euros per month with the option to call through skype or a landline.
