Good value for a triple play Blu ray BUT I much preferred the original Iron Man film. The storyline for this sequel is a little ropey!

4.0 out of 5 stars The Small book with lots of information!, 11 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a great 'handbag size' reference book which covers pretty much everything you need/want to know about the benefits of herbal teas and infusions.
Easy to use and covers a large range of different herbs and their medicinal benefits.
I picked this up for under £5 which is great value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good read!, 23 May 2014

One of my favourite autobiographies!
It takes a while to get used to Steven Tyler's style of writing but once you do, it's a fascinating read.

The Element Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells: The Ultimate Reference Book for the Magical Arts
The Element Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells: The Ultimate Reference Book for the Magical Arts
by Judika Illes
Edition: Hardcover
Price: £16.00

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice reference book., 23 May 2014

It's nice to have a spell book that doesn't focus solely on Wicca.
This one envelopes other leanings (eg; Egyptian and Eastern beliefs) and a more traditional school of witchcraft.
Although some spells are irrelevant for today's use, this is a nice book if you are interested in putting together your own spells as it gives you some lovely ideas on what to use and why.
The only negative thing I would say about this book is that it is NOT A HARDBACK book! It is merely a thicker than normal, paperback cover.
All in all, a good buy.

Encyclopedia of Magickal Ingredients: A Wiccan Guide to Spellcasting
Encyclopedia of Magickal Ingredients: A Wiccan Guide to Spellcasting
by Lexa Rosťan
Edition: Paperback
Price: £9.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than Scott Cunningham!, 12 May 2014
I bought this book as I wanted a encyclopaedia of herbs/flowers/crystals which dealt with their magickal properties, as I needed help making gris-gris bags and incenses. This book is perfect!
It alphabetically goes through herbs, spices, flowers, vegetables, fruits, metals and general household objects, gives information on its ruler, it's magickal form (eg; oil, plant, mineral) and then a description of its magickal properties.
Towards the back on the book, there are magickal tables so you can quickly look up what ingredients to use in wealth spells, protection spells, love spells etc.
I prefer this book to some of Scott Cunningham's work as I find much of his writing very dated, old fashioned and in some cases totally irrelevant.

Solitary Witch: The Ultimate Book of Shadows for the New Generation
Solitary Witch: The Ultimate Book of Shadows for the New Generation
by Silver RavenWolf
Edition: Paperback
Price: £16.24

4.0 out of 5 stars Try it for yourself!, 12 May 2014
I was advised for a long time to avoid this and any other of Silver Ravenwolf's books as they are full of misinformation and general 'twaddle'. However, I did eventually buy it and am so glad I did.
It is generally written for younger witches but, if like me, you don't enjoy long, wordy books, then this is ideal.
It covers pretty much everything you need to know as a beginner (nothing in here for the more accomplished witch!) and is written in a way that is simple and easy to grasp without it wandering off into flowery prose.
As with any aspect of witchcraft, you pick up what you want and pass over the bits that don't hold any interest for you. This book is no different (I scoot through a lot of the chanting, drumming and general Wiccan god/goddess worship)
If anyone tells you to avoid this book, buy it, read it, make up your own mind.
I wish I had bought this book a long time ago and have no problem in recommending it to anyone who is new to witchcraft.

5.0 out of 5 stars Now THATS what I call music!, 4 Feb 2014
This review is from: Chapter 1 (MP3 Download)
Raw, gutsy, honest, rock music!
A shot of adrenaline into a music scene that is currently devoid of anything passionate and original.
What's not to like about that?!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bowie back to his best, 4 Feb 2014

Great album.
Much of the sound is reminiscent of the Young Americans era with the electronic twist of Earthling.
I can't fault this album.
