5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!, 26 Aug 2004
This review is from: Grease [DVD] [1978] (DVD)
There's no doubt about it, Grease is the best film musical ever made. I bought the DVD to replace my old taped-off-the-telly version I've had since I was a kid. The DVD makes the film so much better as the picture and sound quality are far higher than on VHS. The only disappointment was the extras, not much except a documentary I'd already seen on TV. The songbook was an ace idea though. Buy Grease, it's brill!

5.0 out of 5 stars What an outstanding album, 29 Dec 2003
This review is from: Made In Heaven (Audio CD)
The best of the best. I love Queen, I love Freddie, I absolutely adore this album. It's nothing like any of the Queen classics, but it's beautiful and sad and emotional. I adore every single track on the album, especially "Too Much Love Will Kill You" - which is a touch ironic if you think about what killed the poor guy - and "A Winter's Tale" which is my mum's funeral song as it's the most beautiful, heartbreaking track ever written. This is the best Queen album, even beating the greatest hits which are brilliant, and one of my favourite albums. Queen Rock.

4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, Dancy and Catchy, 29 Dec 2003
This review is from: Laundry Service (Audio CD)
What a fantastically catchy album. I bought Laundry Service after hearing the second single "Underneath Your Clothes" and I wasn't disappointed. The songs have that Spanish dancy feel to them, they make you wiggle your bum beyonce-style. There are a couple of ballads in there too, "The One" is just brilliant. To top the Spanish feel, there's a couple of Spanish tracks thrown in for good measure. All in all, Laundry Service is varied, fun and funky, if not a bit bizarre in places (seven legged cats come into mind...)

4.0 out of 5 stars Guess who Mr Christmas' uncle is?, 29 Dec 2003
An absolutely wonderful story, it includes many of the original Mr Men cast, and so many charming pictures. The story is just lovely, it would be perfect to read to a child on Christmas Eve

5.0 out of 5 stars Poor Mr Bump, 29 Dec 2003
This review is from: Mr. Bump (Mr. Men) (Paperback)
Mr Bump is always bumping into things, and it tends to get him into trouble. Thats why he's covered in bandages. One of the original six Mr Men characters, Mr Bump has the Mr Men charm, and the pictures are so cute

5.0 out of 5 stars What nonsense!, 29 Dec 2003
This review is from: Mr.Nonsense (Mr. Men) (Paperback)
Mr Nonsense is the most cheerful looking Mr Man of the lot. The story is sweet and funny. My favourite line was '"That isn't custard, you silly banana," cried Mr Silly. "That's snow!"' There's a brilliant picture of a snowman too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Starring Mr Happy and Mr Tickle!, 29 Dec 2003
This review is from: Mr.Grumpy (Mr. Men) (Paperback)
Mr Grumpy's a rather sad character, he reminds me of an old man. This story is so sweet, and Mr Happy's in it which makes it all the better. As usual the pictures are wonderful

4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely pictures, 29 Dec 2003
This is one of a new collection of Mr Men and Little Miss stories. They are sweet, but I personally think nothing beats the original. I do love both of these characters though.

Mr Worry worries all the time. Then, even when all his worries are taken away, he still finds something to worry about. The pictures are adorable

An excellent story about that cute fuzzy pink character. There's a brilliant picture of him with a sad face. Has the usual Mr Man charm.
