5.0 out of 5 stars It lived up to the hype., 1 Mar. 2011
I can understand how this Movie could disappoint some viewers. I understand that the dialogue could be grating to some. But I honestly loved it.
This Film is so highly polished and perfectly directed. Every performance stands out, and Justin - who I was not too certain about initially - did a seriously good job. Although I am happy with the academy's choice to award The Kings Speech Best Picture, I would have been equally pleased had this won.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best movie so far this year, 29 Oct. 2010
This is an amazing movie. I actually don't understand how people can give Inception a rating any lower than 4 stars.
This may seem obnoxious, but my instant thought when anybody says that the plot isn't coherent (not that many people says this, i'm mostly refering to some of the reviews here on amazon)is that they simply either didn't pay enough attention, or don't have the capability of understanding it on first viewing. Although, it isn't actually that complex. Inception is just complex enough to spark real interest, and is definetly a step in the right direction as far as modern blockbuster movies go. This movie is also not too long because everything in the movie is effective in adding to the overall plot, the length was necessary. Not to mention the acting which was great and the soundtrack.

4.0 out of 5 stars Honestly good, 23 Oct. 2010
I didn't have very high hopes for this Superman/Batman, but i was pleasantly surprised.
Firstly, the artwork is more than adequate and, in many cases, spectacular. Its very cleanly drawn, and the panel-structure keeps you on your toes.
One of the formost successful aspects of this book is the humour. Its actually funny!. Yeah, i said it. I often found myself chuckling at the duo's banter. And in addition, the story is actually really interesting. You'd think that them searching the earth for kryptonite wouldn't be all that great, but it leads to alot of intriguing points and cameos from other J-L members etc. The ways in which other characters interact with Bats and Supes is spot on aswell, whether they be sucking up to them, or making fun. This really makes all the characters seem like real people driven by real feelings.

I'd recomend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly amazing., 19 Sept. 2010
Wolfgang Amadeus is one of the best albums i own.
Immediately your hit by the catchy and terribly fun Listomania and 1901. Then comes Love like a sunset (part 1), this is one of my favourite songs period!

In my opinion, some of the later songs are growers and don't instantly appear as good as the opening trio, however i've come to love them just as much. I love every song on the album, Phoenix have this amazingly ablitly to convey images of heartwarming summers. This coupled with the brilliant lyrics and execution make Phoenix one of the most clever and approachable bands around today.

I recomend this album. Seriously, buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A classic and emotional sci-fi, 2 Sept. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Moon [DVD] [2009] (DVD)
This really is a beautiful movie. The general premise is so simple, but it still manages to totally capture my attention. Sam Rockwell is absolutely amazing, i can't imagine a better actor for this role. This is an instant classic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dubliners; difficult at times but..., 22 Feb. 2010
Awright, well, i'm in highschool and i admit that i found the language and narrative in certain stories to be difficult to the point where in certain ( 1 or 2) ones i felt very bogged down.
However once i had established the ones i found difficult i realised that i truly loved all the others. "An Encounter" is easily read and a totally absorbing adventure. "A painful case" too i found to be absolutely beautifully written and really interesting. But i must say that in my opinion, "The Dead" completely dwarfs all the rest.
I swear i've never read a more intricate and beautifully poetic short story before or after.
So what i'm trying to say is that despite some difficulties this book is imensily worth it and i feel as if i could read it again and again.
