3.0 out of 5 stars Seconds Out. What is up with the drums?, 6 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
First of all, I bought the set for one reason only. That is to listen to Seconds Out in 5.1. I have listened to this Album since it came out and have loved it, on Vinyl, Cassette, and the various CD editions, even the definitive edition, whatever that means. Now, on the Vinyl editions the Drums, yes the Drums, are out there maybe even the main instrument in the mix, which to me made the album one of the great live Albums. having listened to the 5.1 mix, Vocals, Keyboards are improved considerably bot the drums are down in the mix, the fills no longer carry the power and thrust that is on the vinyl.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pearls Before Swine, 1 July 2008

One great album! If you like The Tubes then you will love this. I have never tired of listening to these well structured, melodic and amusing songs. Todd Rundgrens influence is for all to hear, and its sad that Love Bomb does not get the recognition it deserves. Buy it, Nuff said.
