Best Jamie Cookbook, 2 Mar 2010
I used to be a massive fan of Gordon Ramsay, until my Aunt got this book for me for Christmas one year.
I can safely say that not only is this the best Jamie Oliver book around, but one of the best cookbooks in general.
It has plenty of handy tips and goes over the basics on everything from what kitchen equipment you should have to the different cuts of meat, where they come from and how to use them. The recipes are fresh, fun and innovative and range from easy quick meals to slightly more challenging meals for special occasions.
I have every other Jamie book published after this one, and Jamie's Italy comes in at a close second, but hand on heart, I LOVE this book. It's a must for any enthusiastic cook and those passionate about their food.
