This review is from: Whirl of the Wheel (Paperback)
Hi. I am a man of 64 years old and have ceen married for 40 of those years. I have a great wife, two fine sons and four terrific grandchildren. I normally buy books which are fact and non fiction. I purchased this book quite accidently as I assumed that for some reason or another that it was an historical book. I was wrong, it is a work of fiction for children. I did not realise this until I retired early a few evenings back and started to read it. I was still reading it at midnight. It is a really, lovely, gentle, harmless book. and it was so easy to read. There are no indiscretions of human nature in the book, absolutely no profanitary swearing..and it was a total pleasure to read. There is a sequel to the book of which I am making an effort to locate. To end with. Wonderful story & capivating I must relate to the very least that it can be read and enjoyed by anyone from 6 years old to a 100 years old. Sid Berry UK Brighton.

Sounds of the Sixties - the birth of pop/rock/blues - Club 60 etc is not my personal style of the varied aspects of the music that came out of the 1960's.. Saying this, it could be interesting to a much younger person than I, who has a sparse knowledge of the greatest musical decade. As a further personal note on the sixties. Unfortunately a lot of people think that the 1960's came to being in or around 1967. This is very untrue.. the real sixties sounds started midway through 1958 attaining a fantastic peak about the end of 1966...then the bubble of originality started to burst.

This is a cracking book. The word "Cracking" over here in the UK meanings very good - superb - enlighting. Warren really gets to the nitty gritty when relating about electric storms and twisters etc. One could say that you are sitting next to him in his mode of transport enjoying the thrill of the chase. I recomend this to anyone who looks for some excitment in a book. The images of lightning are magnificent.. Well done Warren.

Nikola Tesla and the Philadelphia Experiment is an informative book that still does not come up with a credible answer.

It is well made. The price was a little heavy, and was dissapointed that they did not make a slightly larger size.

It seems that some of the book is a bit too far fetched... Not bad reading though. It is certainly Ok for Beatles" people.

A must for every RS fan... very informative. This book certainly takes one back to real pop music when a band had only guitars and drums. This is a story of real talent and is nothing like the ********** we are exposed to today reffering to boy bands, rap and other ****. Go for it.
