One of the Best 3 Live Albums Ever, 9 April 2009
I play rock guitar, and the young Michael Schenker was a great influence on me in the late '70s. His melodic but powerful solos were unique at the time. This album stands amongst the very best rock albums ever, they simply don't make them like this anymore. It alternates between spine-tingling melody and brain-crunching rock. It's nearly on a par with 'Live and Dangerous' (Thin Lizzy) and 'If You Want Blood, You've Got It' (AC/DC, with the late great Bon Scott). Great songs - some short and sweet, some classic rock anthems (Doctor, Doctor, Only You Can Rock Me), some longer epics (the powerful Rock Bottom, and the beautiful Love to Love You), some hidden gems (Shoot, Shoot).
