....album, Jam & Lewis at their very best. Cherrelle's strongest album filled with mainly upbeat tracks in typical Jam & Lewis style. If you like the SOS Band/Janet Jackson "Control era" sound then you will love this. A superb addition to any serious 80's grooves collection.

Great album, I purchased this when it originally came out and attended the album's promo UK concert at the Hammersmith Apollo in 1986' I have some great memories from then and this great remastered CD brought them flooding back. The album flows really well with each track given the full Jam & Lewis treatment - These guys were really at the top of their game in this era, U Look Good to Me, Artificial Heart and Will U Satisfy are standout tracks but the real highlight got to be the Saturday Love duet with with Tabu stablemate Alexander O'Neal - Great packaging and to my ears a great sounding CD - A must buy for any 80's Groove fan.

What a voice, what an album...Choca-bloc with top quality soul/pop tunes......Criticise & Fake were the biggest crossover hits but all the tracks are superb. The album flows really well, with each track inter-linked with a short narrative. Alex was at the top of his game and with some great production from Jam & Lewis it makes this CD an essential purchase for any 80's soul and/or pop fan. The packaging of this remastered version is great and to my ears the CD sound great - A real gem and a must buy.

Many thanks to the FTG boys for this great re-release - as usual great crystal clear sound and some belting bonus tracks. Super album this showcasing M'tumes at the time very unique sound, sparse production and hypnotic sexy grooves and beats - they really hit the spot with "COD" "Tie me up" and "Breathless" - real classy album that's perfect for late night listening - BUY IT!!

I'm a massive 80's soul/groove fan and this one is just the ticket - great re-release with a crystal clear sound. Some belting tracks on here with "In the dark" and "Poo Poo La La" the highlights but all tracks are strong and well worth adding to any soulful collection - A real gem at currently a great price.

But I feel with stronger production and couple more stronger tracks this could have been what all EWF fans wanted it too be from his first solo album. Slowie "It's our time" and the more upbeat "The good guys supposed to get the girl" are the highlights. "Vaya" is the most EWF like. If you can pick this up at a reasonable price it's worth adding if you are an 80's soul fan but its a pleasant rather than essential listen.

Years before Mr G went mainstream he released, with the help of producer and singer Kashif, a couple of 80's Soul-Fusion albums and they were great fun. This first one is a belter, with some great instrumentals and guest vocal tracks offering a mix of dancers and slowies - Well worth adding to your collection if you are an 80's Groove fan.

What a belter! This album completely passed me by in the 80's and I can't understand why! Solid chunky 80's grooves throughout in a Shannon electro-soul style. "Change your wicked ways" being the real highlight - What a tune!! but to be honest there are no duds - it's a real comprehensive package as well with some 12inch versions tagged on to the original album - The vocal is top notch and reminds me of Chaka Khan on occasions - 80's Groove fans - this is a MUST BUY!

A good quality solid Kashif release - I originally purchased on vinyl so great to have it released in great sounding cd glory! Some good 80's grooves on here "I wanna have love with you" in particular being a typical Kashif dancer, "Movie song" is an excellent instrumental in the Maze "twilight" mode. With Dancing in the Dark and Condition of the Heart being the stand out slowies - the re-release always tags Kashif's Love on the Rise classic on to the end in vocal and instrumental versions - these tracks first saw the light of day on an early Kenny G album before he went mainstream and are a welcome addition, all in all a good soulful and value for money addition to any 80's groove collection.

Some great grooves, often sparse production make up this superb chilled album - reminds me of a modern day version of M'tume in their You, Me and He/Theatre of the Mind phase. Great to listen too driving late at night - Quality sexy, soulful stuff, really interesting artist.
