Waiting For The End To Come
Waiting For The End To Come
Price: £7.49

4.0 out of 5 stars Bang.Your.Head, 12 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This album delivers more of the same slow, heavy and dare I say melodic side of death metal that people have come to expect from them. There is also a healthy dose of more brutal tracks, specifically 'Fire' and 'Empire of Dirt' that have a taste of Bloodbath about them. Maurizio Iacono’s vocals are excellent as usual and the musician ship in the band is as fresh as ever. Stand out tracks are 'Like Animals', 'Elevate' and 'Kill the Elite'

4.0 out of 5 stars Edguy getting back th their best, 12 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This album opens with a track that instantly takes you back to the Hellfire Club album and reminds you just how good Edguy are. Edguy are back to the best they have been in a number of years, and the song writing, hooks and melodies are excellent throughout. The only thing that is lacking is a bit of the heaviness from Hellfire Club. Instead, the rest of the album feels like a homage to glam rock and 80s hair metal, but let’s face it, if anyone can do that era justice it’s the tongue-in-cheek antics of Tobias and Edguy. Stand out tracks are ‘Sabre and Torch’, ‘Space Police’, ‘Love Tyger’ and ‘The Eternal Wayfarer’. This will be my album of choice on the sunny drives home from work in 2014. It’s up-beat, catchy and easy to sing along to. Oh, and if you thought you’d never hear a song concerning Mr Bean, Birmingham New Street Station and Steve Harris you can put your fears to rest, Edguy have done it!

5.0 out of 5 stars “Like metal upon the forge, the body and mind can be made stronger”, 12 Jun 2014
First things first, this is a very very enjoyable read. It has strong characters and an intriguing plot that keeps you guessing. I really like my sci-fi, and this has some really neat, well written ideas that don’t get bogged down in masses of technical detail, it lets your imagination indulge in creating a very believable world. This is one of the biggest benefits of the way this book has been written, it’s easy to get into and I think will appeal to sci-fi nerds (like me) and more casual readers too.
I don’t want to give the plot away, but having finished it I’m looking forward to following this story as it develops as it’s got a lot of potential.
Who are the Kinsmen indeed?!

***OVERALL***
Highly recommended

This is easily one of the best albums they have released in the last few years. The album is full of excellent songs, some fast, some slower, all brilliant power metal.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not to bad for the Price, 20 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
*** PROS ***
- Very good build quality.
- For the price, the sound is better than most earphones you get with mp3 players/tablets etc.
- The sound cancelling works very well.
- Three choices of rubber size for the buds.

*** CONS ***
- Possibly TOO MUCH bass. I guess this depends on the type of music you like. Its not been great for Rock/Metal.
- The rubber goes a long way into your ears. I don't think they are overly comfortable to wear, especially not with any type of hat/head gear.

*** Overall ***
- For a tenner they are probably just about worth it, but you might not find them the most comfortable to wear.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 24 Sep 2013

I wasn't sure exactly what to expect from this, but it blew me away. Took this to Bloodstock Metal Festival to blow up a few airbeds and it saved masses of time and effort.

*** PROS ***
- Compact, lightweight but robust
- Blew up double airbed in about 1 min, single air bed 20 seconds
- Adapter for other types of valve (although i have not got anything to test this on)

*** CONS ***
- The batteries don't last for long, although it takes such a short amount of time to inflate things it shouldn't be an issue. I clocked it roughly at 20 minutes worth of use from a set of 4 Duracel Plus

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, even underwater, 8 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Not many reviews have mentioned this being used underwater, so I'll give a brief review of this:

I found that after use in both a swimming pool, and the ocean (only to about 1 meter depth) the internal water proof pocket stayed 95% dry. There were a few water droplets in the pouch, so i would recommend having the contents in a plastic bag just to be certain they would stay dry.

*** PROS ***
- good but not perfect waterproof inner pocket
- very good strong securing clip around the waist

*** CONS ***
- the waist strap is a little bit saggy, but its only a minor issue. anyone with a 30" waist or less may find it hard to tighten to a secure fit

BLUREX Leather Slim folio Case With Multi-Angle Stand for ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101
BLUREX Leather Slim folio Case With Multi-Angle Stand for ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what you want, 25 Jan 2012
***PROS***
-Looks brillaint. Your TF101 will still look ace in this, not like some of the more bulky cases
-Excellent fit. It slides in easily and is a tight fit, but its not a struggle to get it out again.
-Good quality materials. Feels nice inside and out, the leather (even if its not real) feels great and should protect against spills and knocks.
-The slim design dosn't add too much weight/size to the unit.
-YOU CAN STILL SEE THE TF101! Who wants to hide it away covered in plastic/leather surrounds?!

***CONS***
-Arguably it isn't aswell protected around the edges. But i bought a Navitech case, which was huge, bulky and not nice to look at and ultimatley didn't protect the edges any better. In fact it was probably worse. The Blurex case has clips that hold the TF101 in at the sides and these will hit the floor first, so hopfully that will stop your case from cracking.

***OVERALL***
Unless your going to spend 35 upwards for a case then the Blurex is the best you can buy for the money.

No Title Available

4.0 out of 5 stars ok product, 25 Jan 2012
***PROS***
-Seems to do the job well, my screen is scratch free
-not a bad price for 3 protectors
-the size is pretty much spot on

***CONS***
-they are hard to put on without getting some dust under them, but this will be an issue with ANY screen protector like this
-took a looooooong time to arrive

***OVERALL***
worth it to protect your TF101, but it will make it slighty less appealing to look at...but would you prefer to be staring at a scratch down the front of your glass screen?
I do think that with a bit of practive (i.e. by the third attempt) you can get one of these on with almost no dust under it (its easy to get the air out if you have air bubbles)
