5.0 out of 5 stars So good, I have barely seen it, 15 April 2009
In truth I have watched much of the series but not for a long while after I bought it after I had to prise it off my younger son who just could not stop watching it.
If you love the comedy series, having it on DVD will mean you will watch it again and again.
If you have never seen it (where have you been) watch a repeated episode on the BBC or Dave and if you like that you will love this.
My only warning is it is addictive and you may laugh too much.
All the series' are in the set including the Christmas specials.

3.0 out of 5 stars Useful if a little outdated, 15 April 2009
For design professionals, this book gives some useful information about detail design and construction principles as well as additional information about services and other construction related material.
Some of the information is out of date and the book is far from comprehensive.
However, the information that is in the book is clear and concise giving an insight into how domestic buildings are built and what to consider when designing them

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid and Easy to Construct, 15 April 2009
Basic instructions but simple to construct.
The glass is heavier than you might expect but the construction is simple and gives a neat finish.

3.0 out of 5 stars Helpful if not comprehensive, 15 April 2009
Written for those of us who may not have an in depth knowledge in trees but are interested to find out more.
Containing help with how to identify different basic tree types and a history of how these trees have spread form their original origins as well as some limited information as to their characteristics.
The book is interesting and informative without reading like a dictionary of trees and boring the reader with unnecessary detail.

4.0 out of 5 stars Useful aide memoir, 15 April 2009
Helpful, easy to use reference guide that I don't go to site without.
Principally for domestic buildings, the book has basic info on the Planning system and design data, Structural design data, Services, Common domestic Building Elements and Materials.
Whilst the Planning, Building Regulations and CDM sections are based on the regulatory structure as it was when the book was published and a number of the regulations have changed since, the reference to what the information is based on, found at the end of each section, is a perfect starting point for the lay reader to find out more.
I wait in anticipation for an updated version.

5.0 out of 5 stars The architypal Metric Planning Book, 15 April 2009
The single most useful reference book for construction industry designers.
Contains information on a wide variety of building types and anthropomorphic (body size) data that is invaluable when planning a building.
Split into sections for each building type, the book contains detailed information on the size of typical furniture, machinery, access and space requirements as well as some basic design constraints for all manner of items.
If I need to know what size a playing pitch is, how much room to leave around furniture or even which room should be next to which I turn to this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Versatile but cheap too, 15 April 2009
I bought this card having used the 2GB version for some time.
The card works perfectly and is very versatile.
The only disappointment is that the SD card is only compatible with SDHC card readers and so won't work as an SD card in some older equipment (including my PDA) as a result I prefer the 2GB version.

4.0 out of 5 stars Must See British Gritty Unexpetedly Realistic Action Film, 19 Mar 2009
This review is from: Ten Dead Men [DVD] [2008] (DVD)
Director Ross Boyask outdoes himself with this film.
Similar in plot to his earlier film Left for Dead, the action is very believable and the story flows throughout the film.
A cross between a British Gangster film and a Martial Arts extravaganza the film breaks new ground without becoming unbelievable.
The film was not made on a big budget and you shouldn't expect Hollywood special effects but what effects that are used are executed perfectly and enhance the character of the film.
If you are into Martial Arts, Gangster, British Cult Films or are just wanting to be entertained by a film that doesn't follow a Hollywood formula it is a must see.
