This review is from: Listen to Cliff (Audio CD)
as a lover of cliffs early recordings and fine classics such as my feet hit the ground, high class baby and move it this album left me very bored and i can only describe it as dull.
certainly not cliff anywhere near his raw best-would not reccomend at all

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic 60s originals, 13 Aug 2010
this double cd features a great selection of cool 1960s classic hits and the even better thing is they are all ORIGINAL recordings which is sometimes hard to find in compelations.

3.0 out of 5 stars not bad, 18 July 2010
This review is from: Nowhere Boy [DVD] (DVD)
not a bad film if you are like me a beatles/lennon fan.
lennon is portrayed quite well and the story line keeps you watching, however in my opinion there is nothing that makes the film outstanding.
i managed to borrow from my local library and yes enjoyed the film but i wouldant personally buy

4.0 out of 5 stars essential blues of the 1960s, 13 Jan 2010
This review is from: The Blues Scene (Audio CD)
what can i say a brilliant cd of essential 1960s blues by some of the best such as john mayall etc.
these are original tracks from decca-quality is good.
unlike some compilations this has a very good percentage of realy good tracks-personally for me over 85 per cent of which i enjoy so i definately recommend this cd
this will certainly be used a great deal.

4.0 out of 5 stars great album, 7 Oct 2009
i actually had forgotton about TRB although i was a teenager when they were at their heydays-their best
however on playing this it has reminded me that they were definately a talented group especially when you consider that they were still at school-6th form when they startted and in my opinion thier early stuff is so full of raw undabbled with energy-this is a fantastic album all round and you will not be dissapointed -whether you are a past fan or new to TRB this is an excellant listen

1.0 out of 5 stars dont waste your money on this rubbish, 28 Sep 2009
i have been a fan of jazz for the past couple of years and when i saw this at my local library i thought it would give me a good insight into the many artists and different types of jazz.
however im glad i didnt buy it at the shop-out of all the tracks on this mega 4cd collection i would guess maybe half a dozen if that could even be considered jazz-its absolute rubbish-i would call it easy listening because its not JAZZ.
DONT EVEN BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEY ON THIS COLLECTION
