How did some of these actors get sucked into this rubbish. Dreadful rubbish.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great collectable pressing of a classic album, 5 Feb. 2015

A great collectable pressing of a classic album; wore out the original on vynal and still play the CD so this is great to have to augment the Genesis collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars ... but then I was there, 5 Feb. 2015

not the greatest sound transfer, but more than made up for by its rarity value (in terms of live recording of this particular line-up) and nostalgia, but then I was there.

Oh Dear oh dear, what a waste of time; possibly a top 10 turkey.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting and thought provoking, 2 Feb. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Many Faces Of Yes (Audio CD)
Interesting choices of actual Yes tracks with a whole bunch of before & after stuff that is even more interesting. In particular CD 3 which has some great interpretations of other bands songs and lead me to some research into where these tracks came from and on to even more intriguing things. So great music and some stimulation for the mind and exercise for the research muscles, good value all round :)

3.0 out of 5 stars Starts well, but rapidly descends into poppy pap!, 2 Feb. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
CD1 is interesting, a collection of English Blues/Rock from the 60's & early-mid 70;s.
CD2 however couldn't get it right (pun intended), at least not after that particular track and the band descended into saccharin schmaltz and ironically far more commercial success than ever before!

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting and strange, 16 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Interesting and strange.
A mix of styles. moods and approaches; not the easiest of listens, but completely worth overcoming the challenge. 2nd or 3rd listen this becomes totally rewarding and now sits near the top of my current playlist.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Nice slice of Pastoral Prog, 16 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Northlands (MP3 Download)
Very good album from an interesting ensemble and guests. Pastoral Prog would probably be the best label, assuming you need one, recommended to anyone who enjoyed Lifesigns debut. Will now see if I can find Riversea on the assumption that this too will be well worth my attention.

The Iron Wolves (Rage of Kings 1) (The Rage of Kings)
The Iron Wolves (Rage of Kings 1) (The Rage of Kings)
by Andy Remic
Edition: Paperback
Price: £8.99

3.0 out of 5 stars A good story poorly Edited, 7 Dec. 2014
A good story that could have done with better editing.
Sentences containing too many words, unnecessary repetition, misplaced or misused words spoil the flow and become tedious after a while.
Examples such as:
"What few routes did exist through the mountains were few and far between",
".... was the main and only reason",
" ..... the two men were occupied by attempting to bleach warmth from the brazier" all appearing within the space of three pages.

Not really good enough for a professionally published book.

SYD ARTHUR
SYD ARTHUR

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent early offering from this Canterbury based band, 14 Nov. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: SYD ARTHUR (Audio CD)
Very good early (earliest I believe) work from a band going from strength to strength. Purchased along with all of the rest of the back catalogue that I can find having heard Sound Mirror this year.
