Carp-Zone Hurricane A.S (All Season) Two Man Bivvy with Overwrap, Carp Fishing
Carp-Zone Hurricane A.S (All Season) Two Man Bivvy with Overwrap, Carp Fishing
Offered by Esc Europe Ltd
Price: £199.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Bivvy, complete with all accessories, 27 April 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Ordered Thursday evening, delivered Monday morning, spot on... So far I have put this up in the garden to make sure everything was there, as you do, but I am very pleased with its size and shape. Now this is a 2 man bivvy, so if you are on a lake with small swims it might not be what you need, but if you have the room it would be perfect for any time of year. The bivvy comes with 26 steel pegs, a heavy duty ground sheet with pegging points attached, and tension bars. I really can't praise it enough. It is fairly tall, wide and deep. Its really strong and should stand up to a really strong wind/gales and will obviously be waterproof, and with the overwrap on, its even bigger and even more waterproof. It would be ok for two sharing, as long as you are not stuck inside all day during bad weather, but for one person alone, you could easily have your bedchair either down one side or along the back, with your other chair at the side for easy cooking or whatever, and still be under cover. Door options are are good, with mossi mesh, clear plastic or green rain door choices, and the front and rear mossi windows/vents allow for air circulation when needed. Value for money is assured at £200, and a lot cheaper than the "named" manufactured equivalents. Don't pay more, unless you want a certain anglers name on it. 10 out of 10 without a shadow of a doubt

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant piece of kit, 18 Nov. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Based on the Trangia style cook sets, this set comes with aluminium wind shields and stainless steel frying pan, 2 pots and burner with simmer ring, plus a pot gripper/handle.

The hole for the meths burner in the wind shield is the same size as for the Trangia burner, so you could replace or swap either.

Having been camping for many years, I have never been happy cooking and eating from aluminium pans, so this was the perfect solution as the cooking and eating pans are stainless steel, which means they are safer and also stronger and easier to clean as well.

Although this set does not come with a kettle, my stainless steel kettle in its zip up carry case and folding handle, fits perfectly in the smallest pot when the kit is all assembled and put away, and the kettle sits nicely on the 3 folding pan supports inside the top half of the wind shield for making a brew.

This set does not come with a strap to keep it all together like the Trangia sets do, but Tatonka have made the size of the carry bag that does come with it, just the right size so when the cord on the bag is tightened up, it does not need a strap.

All this for under £40, you really can't go wrong with it...

A good case that surrounds the edges of the phone and also the back, with all the holes in the right places for the camera, charger etc, but does not cover to front of the phone so you can use the touch screen as it's intended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very nice pouch for smokers, 13 Dec. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this as I have been using the standard pouch that the tobacco comes in for years, and thought this would be a good idea.
The pouch is a soft leather and has that nice leather smell to it. It holds 2 ounces easily and has a zipped slit/pocket for papers.
Very pleased with this item, and would recommend it

5.0 out of 5 stars Good cheap knife, 10 Aug. 2012

At £7 including delivery, you really can't go wrong with this knife.
It comes with a plastic sheath which you can't criticize considering the price, but best of all is the edge I have been able to put on this stainless steel blade with my DC4 diamond sharpener. I am not going to test it, but I think I could probably shave with it.
So get one and you won't be disappointed, and if you break it or lose it, it won't cost the earth to replace it, like other makes of knife.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good rack, but screws not included, 10 Aug. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought one of these and was very impressed when it arrived as it comes with two different sized attachment bars that go over the rear brake and attach to the frame. I guess you could call it a "one size fits all" kind of thing, but when I took it out to the shed to attach it to the bike, I discovered that the only screws you get with it, are two for attaching the attachment bars to the rack itself.
You then need to find, two suitable screws or nuts and bolts to attach it to the frame down by the back spindle (and these have to be precise or you risk hitting your rear gear cogs) and you need a nut and bolt to attach it to the frame over the rear brakes behind the saddle.
After an hour hunting around in my shed I managed to "bodge" together enough screws, washers and nuts and bolts of a suitable size to attach the rack securely enough to be able to use it.
I would of given this product 5 stars, as it is very well made and will do the job I intend it to do, but as it doesn't come with all the fixings needed to attach it to the bike, then 3 stars is all it's worth.
If I hadn't of found what I needed in my shed, I guess I would of had to driven to Halford's or somewhere to buy some.
Come on guys, these things are made in China and cost virtually nothing, so include the necessary fixings with things like this and stop alienating your customers, and you might sell a few more...
