Fun to assemble, and a great addition to the game.
I was a little disappointed Cyborg has nothing to say to the Cybermen, but that's okay.

Was missing an important piece, and I don't fancy paying extra to get the piece shipped out given how expensive the product already is, but it's a nice model and a great addition to the game.

I bought this MicroSD card for my phone and... It doesn't work.
It works on my PC just fine, but who uses SD cards for that?
My phone can't read it, that's what I bought it for, ergo it doesn't work.
There was nothing to suggest an "XC I" was any different from any other MicroSD card.
So... Yeah. The product "works", but instead of all the ~oooh store 1000 pictures~ marketing nonsense they maybe should have just given a compatibility chart or something.
Wasted money I can't really spare on this.
I honestly can't even see why a "MicroSD XC I" would work any differently from any other MicroSD. The item description certainly doesn't mention any differences, except it has more storage space.

2.0 out of 5 stars UK Fans Get Shafted, 8 April 2016
Watered-down version of the American release.
The American version includes a collectable figurine of Charizard, a great way to celebrate Pokémon's 20th anniversary. This UK release (despite press releases previously suggesting otherwise) does not include the figure and instead includes a useless blown-up version of the promo card.
As a further mockery, it costs MORE than the American version.
Not worth it.

Such a fantastic game. A great story, a brilliant mystery to solve, loveable characters, and very enjoyable gameplay. My one issue with it is that there are some confusing translation errors, which I think come from the localisation team having little faith in the franchise (which is a shame because it's fantastic!).
I'm so glad Bandai finally localised a Digimon game, and I'm glad it was this one.
Here's hoping they localise the Digimon Adventure game, too!

4.0 out of 5 stars I Hate Action Movies, 19 Mar. 2016
I hate action movies. I hate super-hero movies. I hate sitting for three hours watching men squirt testosterone out of their fists at each other while someone hired to support a pair of Gigantic Boobies™ jiggles around or whatever.
And I bloody love Deadpool.
First movie I've seen in nearly ten years that I'd watch twice in the same week.
If a movie can make me sit and watch an action sequence without me resorting to flipping open my 3DS to crush the boredom, then it's gotta be really good.
I've had a weird history with superheroes. I love the idea, but I a hate action movies, and of course superhero movies are action movies. Deadpool is neither. As the titular character himself explains at the beginning, he's not a hero, and this is a romance movie. The story has heart. It's the first "superhero" movie I've seen where the protagonist's actions actually make any sense, which is ironic given Deadpool's reputation.
It's also a kick-ass movie with a deranged hit-man as the protagonist. The movie is very self-aware. Unlike so many other superhero movies, it doesn't pathetically try to pass off this universe of spider-people and exploding children as "realistic". It doesn't shove gritty edgy realism in your face and start trying to hump generic action into you. It embraces the fiction and runs with it. The action sequences are supported by wit and some clever directing. It also keeps up with the fast-paced, attention-deficient era we now live in. No one thing runs on for too long. Yet, the pacing isn't too fast, either. It slows down where appropriate, pulls back, reminds us what's important, then jumps back into the knob-gags and violence.
It's like watching an R-Rated live-action episode of Animaniacs where people die. A lot.

The Lego Movie [Blu-ray + UV Copy] [2014] [Region Free]
Dvd ~ Chris Pratt
Price: £9.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Big Corporate, 21 Feb. 2016

With a fairly decent array of special features and a generous UV copy, this Blu-Ray is pretty good value for money.
The movie itself is fantastic, with that old Warner Brothers humour that seemed to die out in 2006 revived and raring to go - combining silliness with wit to create multiple levels of comedy that're bound to resonate with all kinds of people. Take for example the spectacular social commentary; with the generic pop-song that everybody loves despite it being annoying (yes, that was the point, corkheads), the average white male protagonist shunting aside the genuinely interesting female proto-protagonist, and the multiple jabs at big-business and corporate America. This may go over the heads of some but it is brilliantly juxtaposed with people falling over, things breaking, and general mayhem. Failing that, there's also "cute humour". Something for everyone! And just when you think you're safe, there's a sudden surrealistic twist that'll throw everything you thought you were watching into complete chaos.
It's a brilliantly crafted film, and definitely the funniest to be released in 2014.

4.0 out of 5 stars Review of Reviewness, 21 Feb. 2016

The cover artwork is brilliant and there's plenty of room for one run of cards, however the plastic sleeves have no backing which for me makes it look and feel a bit cheap. I much prefer the binders with a black backing between the sleeves - they look a lot more professional and... Collector-y. Still, it's a fair binder and Hoopa makes for a wonderful mascot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spoiler-Free Review, 21 Feb. 2016
This review is from: Invader Zim Volume 1 (Paperback)
This brilliant paperback brings together the first five issues of the new Invader Zim comic published by Oni Press.
Every chapter is brilliantly illustrated and written. At the hands of Jhonen Vasquez, Rikki Simons, and Eric Trueheart, it feels every bit as like watching original series. It would have been so easy for something of this nature to feel like a faint shadow of the original show, but they're every bit as good as the show was in its prime - sometimes even a little bit better. The humour is there, the pacing, the attitude, the atmosphere - it all feels so right.
Fantastic comics, and brought together in one brilliant book. Bring on volume two!
