And that about sums it up. Loss of men and fellow officers appear to roll off the tongue as if a matter of course.
It does go hand in hand with other records and even though written by an Officer it verifies the attitude of the BEF.

This review is from: We Were Not All Wrong (Hardcover)
At first one runs with GM's ideas and he leads the reader into thinking he has all the answers to the problems of why the war started and why there was supposedly a lack of equipment for the armed forces. It's not till one understands that evidence is plucked from all sources to make his case that his argument falls flat. This sounds rather hard as GM was a thorn in the governments leanings and he did raise many awkward questions, but one feels he is hiding behind the mantel of the League of Nations, which when compared to Quintin Hogg's book The Left were never Right, the League of Nations was a defunct attribute from day one. Personally I would have liked to have met GM and for that matter QH, in fact it would have been good to listen to their arguments first hand rather than between pages.

QH, replies in a very concise way to the books which were about the supposed misgivings in 12 Guilty Men and was your MP a Tory. He does not obligate the mistakes that were made but adds a little foresight of why those mistakes occurred. When read against the labour books, written by unknown writers at the time, one does get the impression they were written to undermine the Tory standing after the war in 1945, and yes they did have the desired affect.
Unfortunately the crosses and dots never got joined up and the end product fell at the next election. I suspect that the writers of labour books never read QH book and if they had then they may have stayed in power. Their failure was lack of available money to put all their ideas in place, and the countries debt increased rather than diminished. Now where have I heard that before.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very good to ?, 9 Oct 2013
Bought last year and the variation in spray patterns were very good indeed.
It is made of metal even better but the downsize is, the trigger and moving parts are made of plastic and its gone down the swannee river. ie. the trigger just kept sticking in the 'on' position. Ive tried to releasing everything and made sure the spring was free but all to no avail. So only 3 stars for effort, could do better, so now looking at all metal gun.

Even smarter looking than the standard Concords and look really good in the bookcase. As with all box files one must not overload them, so its better to have a few spares around.
