5.0 out of 5 stars Thank you Samsung!, 25 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Perfect! Finally, a tablet that makes use of its ability to be a creative, artistic tool. Prior to this, the only way to get that level of input was to spend arround 600 on an Ipad and Jot Touch - after which, you'd have to live with the shame of owning an Ipad ;)

The only down side right now is that Android doesn't have the same range of artistic Apps that support the pressure sensitivity. Sketchbook Pro works great though, and word-on-the-street is, that Art Rage is in development for android now too. No doubt that this, and devices like it will open the market for artistic apps, and they will soon start to flood the market. Frankly I can't wait, because I'm thoroughly enjoying this, even with only Sketchbook Pro installed

4.0 out of 5 stars Supprisingly not rubbish!, 8 April 2011
This review is from: Flea Zapper (Kitchen & Home)
I was really sceptical about getting this after reading a lot of bad reviews regarding poor customer service and faulty products. Also, the only positive review for it seemed suspiciousley like it was put there by the manufacturer as an advertisement. However, I was pleasantly supprised.

I've been brushing my cats with it for about a month now and they don't seem to have any fleas any more. Most supprisingly of all, they really love being brushed with it! I read a few reviews stating that the comb would retract and not go into the animal's fur. I experienced quite the opposite though. The comb stayed straight and picked up a lot as it went through. I think the other reviewers may have been a bit rough with it.

All that said, this comb alone is no substitue for regular flea treatment. Frontline is still the only thing that will totally kill them and keep them off for a month. As it comes towards summer though, I can see this comb being really helpful in keeping things under control. Not just with fleas, but with fur too.

5.0 out of 5 stars As it should be, 2 Mar 2011

FYI - This is a straight re-release of a PS2 title of the same name, with updated graphics. And the PS2 title was based on an original NES game with the same name :)

I originally owned this game on PS2 and loved it for its fluid controls and fast paced-arcade play style. It's a grimey slash-em-up, following the tribulations of Rygar as his home and country are destroyed by powerful godly forces, up to no good!

In all honestry, the plot in this game is only really an excuse to build the game around. That however, is why this game works well, because it's a very fun game to play.

The Wii has been plagued since birth with a tragic drought of games of this ilk, but this is one of the best of its kind. Although this is a remake, and not an original title, I'm glad in a way that they didn't try to change things to a point where they missesd the point of the original and lost its charm - as happens to many titles with next generation updates. This however, is pure fun at its best. Why? Because you can cut monster's heads off, stick their corpses onto the spikes of your "Diskarmour" (Shield on a chain with spikes!), and then beat other monsters to death with them :)

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what it should be, 2 Mar 2011
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Eldar Saga (Wii) (Video Game)
I bought this game because I was looking for a good plot based RPG to get into. However, what I got was a very shoddily put together hack-n-slash game, with only a poor excuse for a plot.

There's very little production effort in this game and the whole thing feels like it was put together by teenagers as a school project, rather than as a serious game. As the plot is really thin, and the voice/movie direction is quite poor, all thats left is a grinding slash-em-up, with a game mechanic that doesn't really work

If you're thinking of buying this, I'd wait untill later in the year (2011) when some new & better looking RPGs are scheduled for Wii release.

2.0 out of 5 stars low quality and poorly designed, 29 Oct 2010
I understand that creating a stylus for use on a capacitive touchscreen is a greater design challenge than one for a basic touch screen. However, it's apparent that very little thought has been put into the design of this product.

The stylus tip on this device is just as wide as a human finger, which really negates the point of owning it. On top of that, the response is flawed, and the screen will only recognise it's touch intermittantly. Together, those two flaws make this product useless for it's intended purpose of more accurate selection.

I personlly bought this for using on art aplications (fine drawing etc) and due to the above, found it completely useless for the task.

This is a very basic attempt at a capacitive stylus, just a bit of fibre sponge on the end of a stick that anyone could make themselves at home. It's good that Styli are being created for cap-screens, but the manufacturer should have tested and refined the product before release.

This item would only be of use with a finer nib and more accurate recognition. Oh, and don't try and use a pencil sharpener to reduce the nib size as I did. This will rip the nib clean out and destroy part of the shaft, rendering it even more useless. It's a good thing they come in pairs.

Probably only useful at all if you have giant fingers and arthritis. Other than in that scenareo, don't bother!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, but beforeyou buy, CHECK YOUR PHONE!, 14 Oct 2010
This stylus is great and amazing value. Some people have mentioned looseness in the cap. I did not find it loose at all. I do have the following recommendation though:

Before you buy it, CHECK THAT YOUR PHONE/DEVICE WORKS WITH STYLUSES. My Sony Ericson Xperia X10 Mini Pro does not! Had I read my phone's documentation before I bought this, I would have known that, but I didn't. However, fortunately, my housemate found the product very useful as a DS stylus.

Before buying, do some simple tests, such as trying to use your device with a capped pen/blunt pencil or any other small pointed object (trying not to scratch the screen of course. This should tell you if it'll work or not. Some modern devices use touchscreen technology that wors on recognition of touch by hand. This works by heat or salts in your skin (crazy future stuff I know, but it's true!) If that's the case, then your device may not work with a stylus at all.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice to look at.. maybe not to sleep in, 28 Sep 2010
I've owned and slept in this bedding set for over 6 months now (with washes inbetween of course :) )

The set looks great, but I'm not too keen on the Satin feel. It can be very clingy and isn't anywhere near as soft and delecate as the silk it tries to emulate.

Also, about a month ago, parts of the under-sheet starter to fray and tear. It's affordable and good looking, and would probably last a while if well cared for. However, if you're a rough sleeper like me, I'd look for something stronger and more comfortable.

3.0 out of 5 stars The worst edition of great series. Buy on a different format!, 14 Sep 2010
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
If you've never experienced Guilty Gear before, an you ONLY own a Wii, buy this. Guilty gear is one of the most impressive, fun and fast paced beat em-ups EVER made. However, you'll be wanting a gamecube or clasic controler to play it on, because you really can not get the most out of the game without full controls. This game is HUGELY fast paced and the unresponsive Wii controls that have been bolted onto it for this eddition are deffinately ill-suited to the main ilk of beat-em-up gaming.

If you have a PS2 or XBox original, buy Guilty Gear X2, which is undoubtably the best game in the series. They all share a lot of similarity, but the Wii version has dissapointingly dropped ALL of the progressive single player modes. In GGX2 on PS2 and Xbox, there are a story mode and a mission mode which will keep you busy for DECADES before you can complete them. The mission mode especially will teach you pretty quickly how to get good at the game. Sadly, neither of these modes are present in this Wii version, leaving only quick-play modes like Arcade, MOM & Survival. It deeply saddened me to find this when I bought the game, as it means there's almost no point in playing it. No unlockables, nothing to discover, no story (all of which are present in the PS2 & XBox versions).

The producers of this game have now oved on to develope Blaz-Blue on PS3 and XBox 360, which is equally fast paced and impressive. It upsets me though that they left the guilty gear series behind with this poor, stripped down version, which shames the purity of an otherwise fantastic game.

If you like to have a life, with friends and socialising and the like, then you probably shouldn't buy this game. It will consume every waking moment of your existance, and the worst part is... You'll LOVE it!
