First off.... I must mention that I've tried my very best to try and get in touch with Naphos (the supplier of this item) without joy. The 'Contact Us' link simply states that an email to them will be answered quickly and efficiently.... Only problem is no email address or contact number is to be found anywhere on the Amazon website. (If anyone does have a contact, please PLEASE do let me know.)
Bought this item as well as the smaller 5000mAh pack back in September. I work long shifts away from a desk or vehicle (as part of the emergency services) so a mobile battery pack seemed like an excellent idea. I immediately found the smaller 5000mAh to be a great way of powering my very heavy HTC Desire HD phone for a few more hours in an emergency however it was the 11000mAh pack (this item) that really shone in value. Not only could I charge my phone several times a day, I could leave the pack in my coat pocket and not worry about a dead phone late at night whilst still working.
The smaller 5000mAh unit stopped working before Xmas but as I was so pleased with the larger 11000mAh pack, I wasn't too concerned, and the smaller pack was laid to rest in a dusty drawer.
The larger battery pack has now also stopped working a fortnight ago. The pack switches itself off (as if to indicate it needs a recharge), but when placed on charge using the included battery charger, the pack shows it to be charging (strobing blue LEDs) but does not charge.
The pack has been charged for three 6-8 hour periods as advised but is still flat once removed from its charger.
Going back to the original 5000mAh pack, I can at best get one complete charge of a 1700mAh battery from 30% (approx) before that also becomes useless.
Considering I spent almost £70 on both these items, and both have failed within 5 months...... and also considering I have no way of contacting the supplier (Naphos) to seek advise or maybe even a partial exchange I can no longer recommend the New Trent products or the supplier Naphos.
I feel extremely disappointed as the idea and execution of
the products (initially) was great and (when they worked) I was extremely happy with my purchases.
If Naphos is able to contact me then I'd appreciate a response. Until then I can only suggest you Avoid.
