i disagree with the other review for this Clock radio/CD alarm i checked it out and it scored 9.3 out of 10 on Reevoo so i bought one from Fenwicks in Newcastle for £34.95! I have no problem with reception and it automatically tunes in the preset channels, yes you have to scroll up or down to the station you want but generally i dont flit from station to station. The main problem i had with my old Acctim clock was that it was so bright i had to lie it face down and cover it to stop the 2" neon blue numerals lighting up the room, but this is the opposite the illuminated base can be bright , dim or turned off and the dull glow of the orange clock backlight if not a problem and can simply be turned away if required. There is a red LED to tell me that the radio is on .... so what if the radio or CD is on then i am awake so why should it matter! In my opinion to get a remote control CD player a Radio and an alarm clock with 2 alarm settings that can wake you with the music/buzzer of your choice is good value for money!!
