Not a lot I can say about this .... I bought it to keep a backup of the data on my windows 8.1 desktop PC, and so far it has worked flawlessly.
Easy to install - just plug the supplied cable to a USB port on your PC. For best performance use a USB 3 post if your PC has one (coloured blue), if not, any other will do. Plug the power adapter into the mains, and that's it.
Performance on USB 3 is excellent. I get a pretty constant 75MB/second, which is impressive for a USB drive.
I cannot comment on its reliability, as I've only had it a couple of mnths, but so far it has worked fIne.
