4.0 out of 5 stars Very good support - slightly tricky to do up., 1 Mar. 2011
This bra has been amazing to wear out running 3 times a week. The support is the best I've ever had in a sports bra in that it minimises bounce very well. Only downsides are that it looks quite unattractive on and takes a while to get used to doing up the back (requires a bit of patience sometimes). Overall though, quite happy with this and would consider buying another one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great book but takes a while to get used to, 14 May 2010
Thomasina Miers put a lot of effort into this book and it has paid off. Lovely recipes, especially the salsas, but many of the ingredients are hard to get and it's tough to work out what to substitute them with. It's not made for quick and easy meals either which is what I was hoping to get from a book that advertises it as "made simple".

The Bang-Bang Club: Snapshots from a Hidden War
The Bang-Bang Club: Snapshots from a Hidden War
by Greg Marinovich
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.19

4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant story but probably not bedtime reading!, 28 Feb. 2010
From the moment the book starts you are brought into the Bang Bang Club's intense world. This is a great story but if you want a sound peaceful sleep don't read it before bed - the scenes are very graphic but they are the only way to get a proper glimpse of what these young photographers did to make the world aware of the brutality going on in South African society.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's OK, 28 Feb. 2010
OK but not brilliant. I am looking for an electric one as this is quite hard work on the hands. I had a tiny blister after using it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible, 28 Feb. 2010
Having read 3 Cups of Tea about 3 years ago I couldn't wait to find out what Greg Mortensen and his team have been doing since. I ended up ordering Stones into Schools from the States as it hadn't come out in the UK yet and it was well worth it. His team are amazing, their stories are amazing and what they're achieving, against all odds, is beyond comprehension. I would recommend this to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of his best, 24 Jan. 2010
I can't emphasise enough how much I loved this book. William Dalrymple writes in such a lovely way and is one of today's best story tellers. This book is fascinating and he brings these people's stories to life in ways you wouldn't expect from other authors.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lives up to the hype, 24 Jan. 2010
Amazon sent me the wrong book - New Moon, but I held onto that and bought Twilight. I'm glad I didn't return it as the series is highly addictive, even if you're not a teenage girl.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok but not as good as Chinese Food Made Easy, 24 Jan. 2010
The book is so far just ok - not as fantastic as I expected but maybe just need to use it a bit more. The desserts are lovely.

3.0 out of 5 stars Some great recipes but not one I use every day., 11 Dec. 2009
I bought this specifically for one recipe - her brownies are outstanding and by far the best I've ever made. Worth it just for that. The rest of the book is fine, we've used a few of the recipes but haven't been blown away like some other books out there.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very honest read about a very determined woman, 11 Dec. 2009
This review is from: Chanel (Hardcover)
It's an excellent book but a challenge to read - it's translated from French which was written quite a long time ago. However, it is worth the challenge. She had such an interesting life not without its extraordinarily hard times and highlights.

I actually borrowed this book from the library several years ago, never got to finishing it but loved it so much I finally bought my own copy. The book (used) arrived in excellent condition and I'm looking forward to reading it again.
