4.0 out of 5 stars Great book but it's Eagle, GLOBE and Anchor...,, 13 Feb. 2014
This review is from: Legacy (Paperback)
Legacy is a great handbook for leadership that can be easily used in business. Our team is reviewing the text to kick-off a leadership forum and will reflect on the 15 lessons as a backdrop for improvements to our business.

In Chapter 8, Kerr describes the importance of ritual and language in an organization and I couldn’t agree more. However, as a former Marine I was quite disappointed to see the most coveted symbol in the Marine Corps incorrectly stated as Eagle, Oak and Anchor. It’s actually Eagle, GLOBE and Anchor which is a significant difference. Given the importance of the “EGA” to all Marines, this was quite disappointing.

Overall great book, but when you focus on the importance of language make sure the references are correct.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good reference coaching book, 19 Sept. 2011
This is a good "starter" book for those looking for basic coaching skills. Notes at the end of each strategy/technique are useful for further information on the topics. If you are new to coaching then it will be a useful book. For a more experienced coach, you'll probably find the book quite basic.
