2.0 out of 5 stars A missed opportunity, 26 Jan. 2016

This review is from: Lucifer: Season 1 (Amazon Video)
It's a great idea, but Tom Ellis is miscast in the main role (he should be charming and scampish, but is just plain annoying) and the crime mystery is just an excuse for his character Lucifer to flex his immortal charms at different people. No real story to speak of. All in all, a missed opportunity.

4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining start, dull middle, exciting finale, 22 Oct. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Mr. Robot Season 1 (Amazon Video)
Brilliant pilot, great central performances, but feels like a 10-hour set-up for series 2. I loved all the hacking stuff; it's really well researched. The pilot is brilliant, but misleading, as the vigilante-hacker storyline all but disappears by the middle of the series. Overall, I felt intrigued by the series and the main character, but until the last 3 episodes, I wasn't really entertained or invested in it. Some of the plotting felt annoyingly slow (Angela's entire mid-series arc took 5 eps to wrap up, but could have been done in 2 or 3 scenes; same for Tyrell's story) and there are far too many loose ends at the end of the series. Still, looks good for series 2. Hopefully it will loosen up and have a bit more fun with its premise. And also put in more story.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't work., 24 Jun. 2015
Bought it. Couldn't get it to work on an iPhone 5 or 6. Helicopter just sat there with lights flashing. Everything charged but no response. So sent it back and bought a replacement. Same thing. Avoid if you have an iPhone or iPad.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this chair, 31 Jan. 2015
Brilliant chair. I wanted to spend around £70 on a chair for the shed. This one is perfect. Really solid build, very comfy and it looks great. Easy to put together too (takes about 10 mins).

1.0 out of 5 stars Unusable, 8 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The worst piece of kit I have ever bought. Spent a whole day - about 6 hours - trying to get it to work. I'm an IT manager, so I have set up a few networks and routers in my time, but this kit is unusable. The WPS setting is only for unsecure networks (if you have a BT Homehub, it will connect to your open FON signal, rather than your actual wifi, and you can't change it). So you follow the instructions for the easy-setup, which finds your WIFI, you type in your WIFI password, then it connects, reboots and then asks you to do the whole thing again. On the third attempt, it connects, but because my home WIFI is on a different subnet, it didn't connect to the internet. I had to manually go in and update the IP address and router settings on the Wifi Extender. And still it wouldn't connect. It dropped connection every 5 minutes. I've updated the DNS and DHCP. And it works sporadically, with no rhyme or reason.

Absolutely awful. Avoid.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended, 26 Feb. 2014

Great chair. Really comfy. Arrived 2 days after order and was easy to put together (took 10 mins). One thing to note: The button on the side is to make the back of the chair recline. Press it and push back. It took me a while to work this out, as instructions aren't great and I've read some reviewers on here saying the button does nothing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't work, 2 Nov. 2013

I had high hopes for this, but after using it for a day, it just stopped working. I tried a few things that they recommend on the Adonit website, but the pen just doesn't work reliably. It's like trying to write with a Biro that randomly refuses to write up strokes or down strokes. I can't recommend it. Nice idea, but no good.

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than 2011-2012, 11 July 2013
Last year's video used transfers from what looked like VHS tapes for some matches. This one is better. But - and it is a big but - why on Earth do they insist on using Daniel Wynn's appalling squawking commentary from Spurs TV? How much can it cost to get the proper Sky/BBC/ITV commentaries? he lets the whole thing down with his ridiculously amateur attempts. I have to mute any game he commentates, it's so gratingly awful.
