5.0 out of 5 stars Shimmery loveliness, 17 Jan. 2011
Really gorgeous shimmery subtle pink colour. A good alternative to clear varnish as subtle enough to wear at work but just gets lovelier with each coat. Nice over dark base colours too and wears well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it, 17 Jan. 2011
Had to try this as the name suggested a two tone colour and it's really lovely. Blue/green tones. Enough coverage with one coat but better with two.

5.0 out of 5 stars An atmospheric page-turner, 20 May 2006
This review is from: Koyasan (Darren Shan) (Paperback)
As a teacher, I read this book to my class following World Book Day 2006. I was worried the subject matter might be a bit scary for the age group (9-10 year olds) but it proved to be their favourite book I've read them all year. They were completely riveted and were sorry when the book was finished. I enjoyed it too. Could be used as a stimulus for writing too.

5.0 out of 5 stars I thought dieting was supposed to be difficult...?!, 20 Feb. 2005
This book is stuffed full of tasty, filling recipes which are generally quick and easy to prepare. Some dishes require a bit of advance preparation if you work full-time like me, but they have all been worth the effort. I have dieted in the past, but this is the first time I have really enjoyed it. The food is so tasty and satisfying there's no need to 'cheat'. The information offered is helpful too - it gives you enough info to be able to adapt some of your old, favourite recipes into Low-GI by selecting the correct food type, quantities, substitutions and cooking method. Nothing is completely banned, it just suggests healthier alternatives or how to lower the GI of a meal if you're including a high-GI food into it. If you're into the GI method, buy this. You won't regret it.
