Kings Of The North: Paladin's Legacy: Book Two: 2/3

5.0 out of 5 stars FUN!!, 10 April 2011
What can I say, this book was fun and well plotted. I sat down and read the Deeds of Paksenarrion and oath of fealty before reading this and it was great to see how a sheepfarmers daughter influenced the charaters around her. Also considering the time difference between the writing of the deeds of paksenarrion and the paladins legacy the connection and flow of the writing and plotting was amazing.
I highly recommend both the deeds of Paksenerrion and the paladins legacy to anyone who enjoy a well thought out fantasy story. (and for space opera lovers i recommend Elizabeth Moons Serrano series and Vattas war)

5.0 out of 5 stars Straight silver!!!, 20 Dec 2004
Dan Abnet rocks! especially when he's playing in the 40k universe.
Anyway, reviewing this book, all i can say is excellent. I love the gaunts ghosts novels ever since i read Necropolis a awhile ago (It made me go out an buy all of them, which was around 5 books at the time.)
This one lets you see what goes on behind the frontlines of chaos and how the people still loyal to the emperor survive and continue the war. oh and you get to see gaunt and a few of ghosts kicking chaos ass all over as usual. Which is always the point of reading a Gaunts Ghosts novel!!!
Be warned though its a little bit of a 2 parter...but hey thats not a bad thing as i recommend you by every Gaunts ghosts Dan Abnet writes anyway...and Eisenhorn too.. and double eagle, ah hell if its got Written by dan Abnet on it, buy it, read it you wont be disappointed..
Oh and Rawn is till a cold son of a Feth...just as i like him..
So for fans of 40k and gaunts ghosts, Grab your lasgun, fasten your 30cm of straight silver to it and join Gaunt kicking ass.

This review is from: Area 7 (Mass Market Paperback)
this is the first reilly book i read (quickly read every other one!) I read it in one sitting (staying up all night) if you like cool gadgets,a very cool hero, REALLY BAD bad guys and action that is so huge (A carechase using a 747! in an underground hanger!!) Matthew Reilly books are a must. Just dont get attached to a Reilly novel anyone can die.
