I was really looking forward to this after all the glowing reviews from adults, thinking it would be a bit more of a challenge than many DS games. The promise of a "Victorian" mystery coupled with puzzles whetted my appetite. Firstly, it's hardly Victorian as the Professor and his assistant turn up in a Citroen car, during which time we are subjected to annoying dialogue that can't be skipped (same complaint goes for the end of the game). Secondly, although it was enjoyable and some of the puzzles taxed me, once they are solved there is no incentive to play it again. I completed virtually the whole thing (other than approximately 6 puzzles I'm still working on) in around 13 hours of gameplay. I would not recommend paying over £15 for this - wait until people are bored with it and are selling it second hand.
