Fits my S3 LTE nicely (same outline as S3).

Rubberised feature is good, I find a lot of smooth phone covers, or even just the case, can lead to the phone sliding out of my work trousers when I sit down. This doesn't. It's grippy enough not too, but not so grippy as to cause a problem taking it out my pocket.

2.0 out of 5 stars ok but be warned, 2 Sep 2013

Generally very good but readily absorbs water and then sets there wet. I know this would kind of seem obvious with a cat bed, but non of our previous beds have done this.

What it means in real terms is that if you have wooden floors then it leaves damp stains! Probably not too great for carpet either.

Simple and effective. The rotating feature is helpful so you can load baby into the seat in whatever orientation makes mist sense.

I must admit I completely agree with the reviewer who complains it's a glockenspiel and not a xylophone. When purchasing a £12 child's toy, which comes complete with colour coded music ranging from Jingle Bells to Beethoven's 9th, I find the differentiation between xylophone and glockenspiel to be of utmost importance. My 10month old stopped licking the mallet as soon as he realised the travesty of justice and the blatant breach of trade description that had befallen him.

Up until that point, he found it to be a fascinating toy that is good for fine motor skill development. The mallet tastes nice too.

1.0 out of 5 stars Good product, poor reliability, 15 April 2013

Great at doing the job of cleaning teeth, but failed in (thankfully) just less than a year. Amazon have been good at sending out a replacement, but my previous Braun was 5 years old when I upgraded it to this.

Update on 6/1/14. The replacement unit has expired after 7 months, spontaneously turns itself on. Last trick was turning on at 1am.

So that's two dead in 18months.

Great little product. All the instructions for how to connect to sky are included in the packet. We can now view and control sky plus in a second location for under a fiver.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not sure what everyone is grumbling about., 14 Dec 2012
I brought one of these from a high street retailer, who's 200+ reviews for this product are on the whole all positive. Having read the reviews on amazon, I figured it would be easier to return it if there was a problem.

Assembly is simple, all you have to do is read the manual. If you try and flatten the base at the start you can't get the sides / ends to come up. If you follow the instructions and pull the ends up first, then the sides and finally flatten the base then it's easy. At a push, it may take 20 seconds. Putting it down is slightly more fiddly, and can take up to a minute, allowing for getting it back in its case.

Product seems well made, I will update if we have problems. Could have saved a few £ if I'd got it from Amazon.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pointless, 27 Sep 2012
We were given one of these after the arrival of our first born, and after a week of humouring my wife I must conclude that it is almost completely pointless.

This device tells you what you already know - if it's too hot or too cold in the room. It does this by means of changing colour, so if you cannot remember that below 16 is a bit cold, it turns blue. Above 20, it turns orange. Above 24 and it turns red to warn you that it's too hot, but then the fact that you'll be wearing shorts would also probably give this away.

If your baby monitor does not have one, buy a cheap thermometer and remember to keep the room between 16 and 20C.

Postcard Killers
Postcard Killers
by James Patterson
Edition: Paperback
Price: £5.99

1.0 out of 5 stars Bland to the point of offensive, 1 Nov 2011
This review is from: Postcard Killers (Paperback)
This book was a huge disappointment, especially from two established authors.

The characters are wooden, with little effort to develop the two main characters. The relationship between the two main characters is predictable and boring, whilst that of the killers is so unbelievable it's almost funny.

Whilst physically this has the feel of a decent read (being 500+ pages), the font is so big and there is so much white space in the book if formatted properly it would probably be at best 300 or so. 300 pages is not a lot to develop some good characters and story line for a crime thriller!

Finally, I really wish Liza Marklund had stood up to James Patterson and not let the story revolve around the American cop being right all along whilst all European police are incompetent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent all rounder, 25 Sep 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This bag serves as an excellent all rounder.

Whilst the top space isn't great, you can easily fit a water bottle, couple of books and a few bits a pieces. There's a mesh pocket inside at the top too, useful for keeping passports etc if you're going abroad.

The main bottom compartment is a decent size and easy to configure. I carry a DSLR with an external flash gun and two other lenses. I arrange mine differently to the picture, having the camera lying flat across the bottom with the lenses stored on one side and a piece of padding going diagonally; securing both the camera and providing storage for the lens.

The two side mesh pockets are also both of a decent size, allowing water bottles etc to be carried externally.
