5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, 14 Feb 2013

This works very well and is very good value for money. After a few weeks it has not failed to open a jar.
Our ageing hands need struggle no more.
Bonus Hint: I use rechargeable batteries and if you get Eneloop batteries from Amazon they are by far the best and don't loose their charge.

5.0 out of 5 stars BTHomehub 3 and iPad work fine but careful setup needed., 14 Feb 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The problem with set up is that the repeater and BT Homehub 3 both have the same address, 192.168.10.1. If you connect the repeater straight with the network cable to the computer or turn off the wifi you get to the setup screen typing 192.168.10.1 into your browser.
If the wifi on Homehub3 is active there is a conflict and you might not get to the setup, I used my laptop with wifi off.
If you don't get through press the little reset button by the network socket and try again.
Put in admin for user and password, Click on Lan interface setup, change IP address from 192.168.10.1. to something else, I'm using 192.168.10.222. Click on Apply Changes.
The setup now will not connect so put the new address eg 192.168.10.222 into your browser to get back to the setup wizard and go through that, selecting your router, putting in your wireless key as instructed. It takes some time and gives you a count down after telling you the changes have taken place.
Disconnect and plug the repeater into a socket and try it.
If you have used the repeater before e.g. with BTHomehub 2 your ipad will try to log in unsuccessfully because it assumes that WiFi-Repeater-1 has the same password as before. Try to select WiFi-Repeater-1 but click the blue arrow on the right to go to Repeater-1 properties. At the top is a large button Forget this Network, click that and the ipad forgets the old password. Find WiFi-Repeater-1 again and click on it, the password box will appear, put in the key and you're done.
My ageing eyes had trouble with the tiny instructions and the address choice is a nuisance, it's just a coincidence that BTHomehub3 has the same. I've given 5 stars because it works very well but clearer instructions are needed, hope this helps.

5.0 out of 5 stars Listen to Christy, 18 May 2009

This review is from: Listen (Audio CD)
This is the first Christy Moore CD I have bought but it won't be the last. I saw a You tube video of John O'Dreams and found this song was to be on his forthcoming CD called Listen. I ordered the CD from Amazon before it was released and it arrived on the release day. The main impression I received was of the beautiful melodies eg Listen, Does this train stop on merseyside, China Waltz, Barrowland, Gortatagort. Even the protest songs like Duffy's Cut and The Disappeared have strong tunes. Fun songs like Ballad of Ruby Walsh and Riding the High Stool are humorous with a point to make. Rory is Gone, a tribute to Rory Gallagher is a weak link but is compensated for with Pink Floyd's Shine on you crazy diamond.
The old Billy Fury song, I Will is performed by Declan Sinnott, Christy Moore's excellent guitar player. John O'Dreams, of course is beautifully done.
One weak track more than compensated for by some excellent songs. My first Christy Moore, I'm looking forward already to his next.
