Kuhn Rikon Quick Slice Julienne
Kuhn Rikon Quick Slice Julienne

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, 11 Feb. 2012
At last! I have finally found a simple julienne slicer which is exactly what I wanted. I was toying with the idea of a small food processor which included julienne attachments, but this amazing gadget is not only way cheaper it does exactly what I need it to do - make perfect julienne slices. It is a pity the finger guard doesn't slide on grooves along the outside of the slicer like the attachment for the Microplane slicers but I would still thoroughly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Captivating., 17 Jun. 2011
This review is from: The Voices (Paperback)
From the very first page I was completely enchanted by the mischevious wind which carried me on and on, deeper and deeper. This is a haunting novel, unusual and imaginative, and so beautifully written you can almost feel the heat of the desert seeping into your bones. An absolute treat.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent, 10 Jan. 2011
This is not a "self help" book but the best "guide" for living a happier more fulfilled life I have ever come across. It puts the responsibility squarely back into your own hands in a very encouraging common sense way. I recommend it highly even if yoga is not your thing. Great book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth reading, 26 Oct. 2009
This review is from: Salvation Creek (Paperback)
If you need hope in a distressing situation this book offers it. If you are doubting whether to take a risk when your heart is telling you to, then read it. It has humour, sadness, is very touching and brutally honest. And at times almost too claustrophobic to read. It is written in a very easy style and one of those books it is hard to put down before the end.
