What's to say ? it's a bell push - you push it - the bell rings - what's not to like ?
Battery life could be longer.

5.0 out of 5 stars For this price you cannot go wrong, 2 Sep 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The feel of this jersey is excellent and it has all the right features in the right place - good sized rear pockets, one with a zip, and it fits nice and snugly for road riding - although I had to buy a size smaller than usual to achieve this.
Great in warm weather, with a sports polyester under T shirt this will be a good shirt to wear right down to early spring and autumnal days.
The front zip and low collar design at the front may not suit everyone, but at this price (5.99 - 7.99) it is excellent.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bought this as a windshell on the cycle...., 2 Sep 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
... but it's been so warm lately I've not worn it yet !
It's incredibly light, with a v impressive small pack size and it fits v snugly with a good array of zips to help you get it on.
The orange is more mooted than I was expecting, but it seems excellent value and I'm sure it will fit the bill v well.
Being this light however the only questionmark is over durability.

Penguins: Natural History and Conservation (Samuel and Althea Stroum Book)
Penguins: Natural History and Conservation (Samuel and Althea Stroum Book)

4.0 out of 5 stars A proper study of penguins, 2 Sep 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have been looking for a good book on penguins for some time since visiting the antarctic and this one really fits the bill. Unlike so many other books on the subject (and many other natural history topics) this is a study of some academic merit and not just a book with a few facts and nice photographs.
It covers not only their biology, range and so on, but also the conservation issues faced by each species.
(There are lots of nice pictures too, though)

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent value, 9 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
For the price you cannot possibly go wrong - just bear in mind that the sizing is generous. If you are looking for a snugger road fit then buy a size smaller than usual - if you like a relaxed off road fit then stick with your usual.
I can recommend the HELLO I'M HERE eye-catching orange - just right for those busy commutes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfy, light and incredible value, 9 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The sizing seems to be generous (I've not been a "small" for many years !) so bear that in mind. With an undershirt this is a very comfortable jersey, and will be ideal for those v hot summer days (if we ever have any in future) making this is an excellent product for the price. Love the blue colour, the green is a bit insipid and the orange is eye-zapping for the cyclist who likes to be noticed.
One small improvement I might like to see is the front zip coming up the neck a little higher, but this is a v minor thing.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great fun for small hands, 6 April 2009
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
They come as a matching pair and are small enough for children's hands to make them great for creative, imaginative play. They are well made and good value. All good things come in pairs - Husky and Starch, Morecambe and Wise, Dick and Dom - er, the blue one and the orange one ! I've just sat through my 415th puppet show by my young son and am still smiling. Buy them now !

5.0 out of 5 stars If you are a keen wildlife watcher and going down south - buy it now !, 2 Mar 2009
If you are going to this region primarily for the wildlife then this volume is indispensable. Your ship's library is likely to have a copy, but don't bank on it and if you have your own then you can browse at leisure in your cabin rather than fighting over the reference copy. It covers not only the wildlife of the Peninsula, but also of outlying islands likely to be visited on the way such as the Falklands and South Georgia. If you are visiting for the wildlife then stretching the budget to include visits to these two islands is a must.
Other guides are much less comprehensive and may lead to misidentification of birds in particular as not all species are included - the variety of prions and petrels is not to be underestimated !

Antarctica Wildlife: A Visitor's Guide
Antarctica Wildlife: A Visitor's Guide

3.0 out of 5 stars A good overview of the main species, 2 Mar 2009
This is a brief guide to the main species that you will see on a trip to the Antarctic and if you are visiting for the general experience rather than from the perspective of a budding Attenborough/Soper/Oddie (enter name a fave naturalist here) then it'll be good value and not take up too much valuable baggage allowance.
The drawings are attractive and clear, and the text authoritative, so it will add a lot to the experience by making sure that you know what you're looking at and is therefore heartily recommended. You'll soon be telling the difference between a Skua and GP (Giant Petrel) at a glance !
However, the enthusiastic wildlife watcher will want "The Complete Guide to Antarctic Wildlife" which will enable accurate identification of all species, rather than the top 50 - but at a price.
