Works exactly as described. The results so far have been very good. I am very much an amateur photographer so did not want to spent the money needed for canons own Speedlite. This will do everything I am likely to need for the foreseeable future. Recommended

I thought these were awful the first time I used them. the sound was distorted and fuzzy and after about 20 minutes i was ready to return them. Then I wondered if i had plugged them into the right socket ( all my previous speakers had had 3 different coloured jacks, this was the first one with only one) Yes I had plugged it into the wrong one. Silly me. once I had it set up right they proved to be brilliant. The sound is clear and crisp and the output is well balanced. The blue lights are easy to turn off if you don't want them and they don't take up much room on the desktop. the leads are a good length too. I find them plenty loud enough for my purposes and though the bass is a bit limited they are still very good and are unbelievable value. I think I will get another set to replace the 5.1 set I have on my old computer. Highly recommended

brilliant little cover, makes the phone much easier to hold. does not interfere with any of the controls or camera. the plastic face cover was impossible to fit without getting little marks on it, but thats no big deal. unbelievable price, recommended

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice lightweight backpack, 22 Oct 2014
Nice lightweight backpack. material may prove a bit flimsy in hard use though. Fits my camera and 2 lenses easily plus plenty of room for accessories and eventually another lens. I like the straps for holding a tripod. It comes with a little rain cover which is likely to prove helpful. Not very deeply padded but fine for simple walking and every day use. Comfortable to wear and the shoulder straps shorten up enough to fit me (small woman) Good value for money

This is a good bag but a lot bigger than I expected it to be. I find it too large to use on a daily basis but was great when transporting my camera gear on holiday as I used it as a flight bag too. there was enough room for one camera,2 lenses, accessories, travel documents traveled securely in the inner zip pouch, tablet in the outer pocket and a spare change of clothes tucked inside as well!
its a pity the top flap is not the full length of the bag though. and as a small woman the shoulder strap was far too long so the padded bit did not fit on my shoulder at all.
Would be great for a man to use but far too bulky for me

4.0 out of 5 stars very good lens and an excellent price, 22 Oct 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
very good lens and an excellent price. A Little heavy for me to use so I find I get camera shake at the extreme end of the range. a tripod will have to be used! I was not expecting the closest focus to be so far away (approx 5ft). I won't get as much use out of it as I had hoped because of these facts but it is my style of use that is more the problem. An excellent lens for the price and definitely recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars So beautiful . pity about the paper......, 21 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a beautifully drawn labour of love. The designs are detailed, delightful and inspiring, with space to add bits of your own drawings to some of them if you want. As an adults colouring book it can't be bettered for content.
It would have been a joy to colour in but for the major stumbling block of the wreched cheap paper it is printed on. I DO use coloured pencils for almost all my artwork but hesitate to use them on this thin paper as i find you can't build up much colout on it and if you use more than light pressure the shapes show through to the other side.
I have tried scanning some of the designs on to lightweight watercolour paper which works well up to a point. However the pages are wider than A4 so some clipping occurs and as the designs are printed edge to edge in many cases and the book will not lie flat it is hard to get a full drawing in most cases.
I would happily give it 5 stars for content but have taken one off for the poor quality paper.

1.0 out of 5 stars sent it back, 12 Oct 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This product looked good and had excellent reviews so i bought it to digitise my large slide collection. It came well packaged and looked very smart. The instructions were a bit brief but seemed adequate.
First problem was getting it to be seen by my computer as a mass storage device. Everything else I have attached to the computer as mass storage has been recognised as soon as it is switched on, this was not. The USB button has to be pressed to get the PC and "scanner" to see each other. At that point the "scanner" screen goes black, I thought it was faulty but it is not. There is no info in the instruction book to say that this is how it is supposed to be. However these are minor points and were soon overcome.
The slide holders are sturdy, easy to use and travel easily through the device. Thats the good bit

It is not in any sense a scanner it is a camera fixed above a light screen. There is no information on how long the light source should last and no aparent way of replacing it once the light stops working so it may have to be discarded if the light source fails The copies of the slides as seen in the viewfinder were awful, washed out almost to the point of being monochrome, even brilliant reds and yellows were barely distinguishable. Every one had a blue bias. At first I thought it was because of the film type I was using, most of my slides are kodachrome. To make a fair test I chose some agfachrome, fujichrome and ektachrome slides and of a variety of subjects. They all came out the same, washed out and weak. So I uploaded them to the PC in case the "scanners" viewer was faulty. No, they were every bit as horrible on the computer screen and as prints. Even worse was the lack of detail in parts of the image. Trees with easily discernable leaves were shown as amorphous blobs.objects where the colours were close all merged into one. I tried editing them in photoshop but as the starting image was so poor it was difficult to make much improvement. I tried both 5mb and 10mb settings and could not see any difference in output.

Eventually I gave up and sent it back. Interestingly when I bought it in september 2012 it cost £70.00 as of today it has gone down to £40.00, perhaps that says something about the quality as well.

So I pushed the boat out and bought a real slide scanner from Epson, much more expensive and a lot slower but the quality is stunning. I will review this in the next couple of weeks.
