Budget model for basic tasks with some irritations, 25 Nov. 2012
Bought to replace another bottom end tablet, Advent Vega, it does the basics; email, internet, video and music playing satisfactorily, albeit at a relatively slow pace for the former two, despite a good wireless signal and 30mbps broadband speed. It does have some infuriating habits with internet re-connection after dropping out on a fair signal, resuming video playback with no sound on random occasions until you hit back and reselect and with turning on after being left on sleep for more than a few hours. This said, I primarily bought it to use when travelling on holiday to watch stored video and e-books on the journey and to pick up news and mail when wi-fi available, and to this end it is fit for purpose. I have only downloaded a few apps; BBC News, Sky Football Centre, National Rail Enquiries and Amazon MP3 player, all of which function very well on this tablet. Finally, having accidentally dropped it from a height to a concrete floor, with nothing but a scratch on the case to show, I can vouch for it's robustness.
